Such a disappointment.

I was so disappointed with this shampoo. It dried out my hair and didn't seem to work as promised. I had been using a different high end brand for blonde hair (which was way better) but decided to give this one a try. I was so disappointed after the first few washes that I came back to see if I had misread the reviews. It seems the more recent reviews were not as good as the older ones. Perhaps they have changed the formula, I do not know. All I know is I will not be buying this one again.

Does nothing for toning my hair.

I ordered this because of the great reviews. I have always used Olaplex purple shampoo but just wanted to try something different. This did absolutely nothing for my hair. The smell is great. The only reason I gave it two stars was because of the smell and how it left my hair soft. But it did zero toning.

Nothing

This is the worst purple shampoo I have ever used. It did nothing to my hair. I had loreal which was way better than this one. Also tried amika and that one is also very good. But this pureology very bad. I had hopes but unfortunately did kot work no color change.

Is the "rich lather" in the room with us?

Not only does this shampoo not lather, it didn't tone correct my blonde hair AND it left my normally soft hair feeling super dry and brittle after. Worst purple shampoo I've used by far. Truly wish I knew where all the positive reviews are coming from!

It's more of a bluish-violet than an actual purple. I would say it's going to be best for removing golden and orange tones. I personally see more of a difference with the original strength cure. I haven't seen any noticeable color changes, or anything as drastic as some of the pictures shared. But it's not bad.

Not for white hair

I tried a sample and it turned my white mixed with blonde hair blue. It is very pigmented. It did wash out, but it’s a no for white hair.

My hair looks actually dirtier than before I washed it. A true blond usually has fine hair but a lot of it. This is too heavy for fine hair. Also, it leaves a residue of purple on your scalp no matter how much you scrub. matter
