Not the same. Save your money
This is not the same as what it used to be. The original formulation was the only eyeshadow primer that prevented my shadow from creasing. Now I use less shadow and it doesn’t hold up at all. The more product you use the worse it wears. The Milani stay put eyeshadow primer is less than half the cost and work even better than the original.

Yep, it's true. This is not the same product as it once was. This was my holy grail for years. One day it went out of stock and was out for quite a while. When it came back I jumped on it soooo quick. It no longer works the same and is on par with any other cheap primer you can pick up from Walmart. CREASE CITY. I can't even make it through half a work shift... and I work at an air conditioned desk job... I might try buying just one more time since I was so obsessed with this product. but I'm afraid my NARS eye primer days are over.

I have hooded eyes and this truly does help to keep oils at bay and not break down my eyeshadow. My technique is just to apply the primer just up to the fold then I set it with setting powder. It it's going to be a hot day I'll apply a whole lotta powder where the fold is and let it sit for a bit then brush off the excess powder. Guess I'm basically baking lol. But it does help on hot and humid days.

bad reaction
my eyes area are not usually too sensitive but this primer gave me bad reaction. First i thought maybe it's something else but i noticed my eyelid would swell shortly after i did my eyes specially my right eye. Gradually got worst and then eyelids will be swollen next day. I don't put eye makeup often so I just carried on. Recently i wanted to put some eye makeup for a special occasion and as soon i put some on my eyes got so irritated and producing white things. i tried to remove it but it was too late. My eyes were in pain for 2 days and luckily subsided. I have tried the most popular eye primer from amazon and suprisingly no reaction.
