I've been using this mascara for a couple of years now and it is absolutely my favorite. In the beginning it's a little goopy in the first few applications so I just use the spool from the previous mascara tube and that provides a smooth application. I also use a large safety pin to separate my lashes. Learned that trick from Julia Roberts in Charlie Wilson's War.
