Most of these colors are not a silky texture. They’re matte and go on somewhat drier and thicker. The colors are lovely and purchasing their new angled blush brush (created for this product) is worth the money if you don’t already have something similar. TBH using your fingers is a waste of time. And yes, if your skin is dry or patchy you need to deal with that before applying the blush to your cheek otherwise the end result won’t look great. So maybe not for everyone? I love it.

Purchased the full sized after receiving a little sample. Love the color payout of 'Dolce Vita' shade! I am medium light skin tone and I was expecting this to show up like a mauvey darker pink, but it actually looks light pink on me and it's perfect for every day! I apply it on my cheeks and lips - love the versatility.
I will say, this product comes out powdery matte, so if you prefer luminosity and dewiness in your blush, this is not the product for that. The stick is like a dry cream, and once applied to the face, it looks like a soft-focus powder. It does not 'glide' and this product is not very creamy, it's a little on the dryer side, so it might not be best with dryer skin types. When I apply this on my lips, it can be quite drying, so I apply a glossy nourishing lip balm on top. This product CAN feel dry at times, but if you use your finger to melt the product, it works just fine. The pigment is good though.
