I am really glad I decided to buy this. I have thick, wavy hair and it's always a pain to blow dry after I take a shower before I go to bed... most of the time I end up going to bed with wet hair. Not anymore! this diffuser helps me dry my hair way faster, add volume and keep my natural waves. i can see how the right technique can help avoid frizz, but I'm hoping I'll get the hang of it soon. for the time being I do add some product to both protect from heat and avoid freeze.

After using the Buttercup dryer with a cheap universal diffuser, I was excited to get The Bouncer! It was literally made for this dryer, how could it not fit? I did see that the description said it can also be used on other dryers. The part that attached seemed very sturdy so I thought it would still be more stable than my previous one. However any time I use it for longer than 10 minutes, the diffuser falls off. It's hit me in the head a few times and yep, the plastic is definitely sturdy! The bowl itself is okay. The slight curve better suits your head than a flat one, so you can get to the roots better. The diffusing "fingers" though are still a little short. This gave better definition than the cheap one I used to have, but I still wasn't in love. This part of the bowl also twists, but I'm not sure if that's intentional. When it twists it blocks off airflow and doesn't improve results. I have 2C hair, and even when it's short it still usually takes about 30 minutes to properly diffuse. The looseness of the attachment and just-okay curl definition makes this an overall loss for me. It's found a new home with my boyfriend though. He prefers a diffuser bc he feels it's gentler. His 1A hair takes less than 10 minutes to dry, so he has no issues.

For reference, I have very long curly hair and I always use a hairdryer to dry my hair. I have the Drybar Buttercup Blow-Dryer and I needed to get a diffuser to help with the blow out. PROS: - It has rubber bands inside the attachment to the hairdryer that allow to adjust it and keep it in place. That should make it work for other hairdryers although I can not tell how good the fit is because I am using it with the same brand’s hairdryer. I have not experience any issues with the diffuser falling or moving but you must push it all the way in to secure it. - You can open or close holes by turning the top of the diffuser, letting more or less air to go through. - It is so beautiful. I love the bright yellow color combined with black. CONS: - It is pricey, but it does the job so I am really happy with my purchase. This fits the Dyson air wrap perfectly!! Didn’t originally buy it for that reason, but it fits it perfectly and I haven’t had a single issue using it with it.

I love this diffuser I’m still getting the hang of defusing my curly hair but it’s so amazing. And the head is big enough so defuses a lot of hair at once. I have the dry at blow dryer so it’s a perfect set! Love love love!

I use this with my old Super Solano hairdryer and it works incredibly well. I don't need to turn my blowdryer off every time I move sections, and that alone makes this far superior to my other diffuser. It creates volume without frizz on my fine, curly hair. I love this thing.

Best diffuser I've used so far! This attachment fits my Babyliss blowdryer perfectly and grips nicely. I have very fine, wavy, sometimes "curly" hair and the prongs on this device works really well to "work" the waves/curls in my hair.

This diffuser is okay! I like the size but it's not a miracle for my wavy/textured hair. I still get some frizz, and not a ton of defining from this. The thing I hate though, is that it isn't very secure on my DRYBAR blow dryer, which I bought specific to fit w/ their diffuser.

This is the ultimate diffuser out there! I have long, very thick and wavy hair, and have never had good results with diffusers until now. This one is giant, which makes it very effective at evenly distributing heat without blasting your curls apart like those with a smaller nozzle. This gave me the perfect air dried look in a fraction of the time. Love!!
