I purchased this in October 2024 and used it maybe once a week until it stopped working entirely in April. While I did like it, the fact that it died with minimal use in such a short period is frustrating. Not cheap in price, but cheap in quality.

After using this for a couple months, I have to say I like the concept of a smaller diameter round blow dry brush. However this device gets extremely HOT and I am worried about the heat damage. I find it also isn’t much better than a small round brush/normal hair dryer combo. Also the bristles have began to melt and fray which is really disappointing since this is a good brand. That was really unfortunate. I’d recommend just the cheap Revlon one over this.

Buy it - best investment in my hair that I have made! I have shorter layered hair that is always limp- this dryer makes my hair full and cuts my drying time in half!

Works well but the double shot is a LOT faster and the difference in the size of the curls is not significant. However when I had short hair (like an inch below my chin), I couldn’t get good grip with the double shot. So I would argue this is only better if you have hair that length or shorter.

This item is faulty and Sephora knows it but yet still sells it. used 5 times and the brush bristles melted. Excessive heat and the lower setting doesn’t work. Sephora doesn’t care and won’t do anything about it Money

This was my go to every other day but this stopped working after only 8 months! Just stopped turning on, tried the reset and test buttons and on different outlets but didn’t help at all. Waste of money. I just bought a different brand

So, prior to buying this I watched all kinds of videos, read all sorts of reviews and I have to say, I have no idea why there are any negative reviews of this blow dry brush. This brush is super amazing. I was not sure if it would work on my short natural hair, but it did more than satisfy my needs. For context, I have not had a hair relaxer in 2 years, for medical reasons decided to go the natural route, but the straight natural route because that is how I like my hair. This brush has saved me so much time and arm strength in my blow dry routine. I use to use a T3 light weight blow dryer and a blow dry brush which never got me hair as straight as this Drybar single shot. I have since bought 4 other premium Drybar products now knowing that Drybar does work on similar Black Women hair as well. I am definitely going to keep my eye out for more of their products. Well worth the price and top-notch quality, especially when there is a sale. ;)

Dries my hair so fast and makes it so smooth! I got it when it was half off so the price wasn’t bad but it’s my favorite round brush dryer I’ve used! I have 2B hair, fine but a loooot of it for reference

This is the second one I’ve had. It works great to start but eventually the bristles melt and bend. This happened to both. It just will start overheating one day. It will last maybe a year. I’m just about to try a different brand brush because there’s no reason this should last a year. because

I wanted to like this, but it’s so huge. I’ve seen actually blow dryers smaller. Also pulled out a lot of hair.
