I received this product for free from Bumble & Bumble for testing and review purposes. I thought this primer was alright. For context, I have very long and thick, 1A/1B hair with minimal damage from dye, I use heat products sparingly, and have oily roots. I found that using this as directed on the bottle (roots to ends on damp hair, as much as you’d like) was not too successful for me. Using more than a sparing amount left my hair feeling a bit weighed down and kind of wet/crunchy looking, which I wasn’t a big fan of. Any amount of it on my roots left them looking very oily. I found that a small amount, sprayed onto my hands and massaged into the mid/ends of my hair, was much better. It left my hair shinier, a little easier to deal with, and covered up some of the ‘oily’ smell, which was nice. It has an herby, slightly salon-esque smell. I didn’t find it overbearing. The packaging is fine. It comes in a spray bottle. An adequate amount of product comes out in one spray (1-2 was enough for my hair), and it was fairly easy to control where the spray actually went. If going for a sleek hair look or if your hair is more on the wild side, I can imagine this would work pretty well. I think this is best suited for use as a hair oil.

This primer is easy to use daily to soften and smooth out your hair. My hair is so flat it’s hard to style for volume. This primer is really great for styling hair and for perfect fine hair. This is great easy to use spray to use daily in your hair routine. Not only that but it also hydrates your hair it gives great volume to hair that last all day long.

This product helps with bad hair days. It works very well with the scent masking other hair scents and helps with my hair texture. I really think anyone can wear it and like its results and pair it with other hair products. It hold up during the heat for a while. I like mu hair to have a matte finish and this is allows it to have my matte texture. It works very well well and very quickly which is perfect for me because im always on the go.
