I have super thick wavy hair that I have been keeping in a pixie lately and this is exactly what I need. A few spritzes of salt spray when damp and then the Sumo when dry. My hair isn't stiff or sticky, it can move while holding the look. Great stuff.

3 because I normally love their stuff…
Scent way overpowering - soap smelling - not a familiar BB smell….
When I applied to clean dry hair I thought it was a nice mix but after I actually styled/messed up my short hair it went flat. Hours later felt like I had no product in it which in my case Is bad because I have textured hair.
Prefer mixing sumo tech or semi sumo or the Invisible orange can texture spray

Awesome Low Maintenance Style
I liked this product when I had long hair with layers, but I LOVE it now that I cropped it all chin length with curls. It doesn’t keep an ironclad hold, but it’s still perfect for that tousled, “my hair just air-dries like this” rockstar look that I am gunning for. I love that I can mess my hands in my hair throughout the day and it doesn’t feel crusty or make the strands look weird and bendy. It’s flexible and comfortable, and makes you look and smell extremely cool. The scent is a bit on the masculine side of unisex but super subtle so it smells very fresh.

I love this product-
I have long wavy hair, and once a week I straighten it. When I do, I use this as a finishing spray and it keeps it very nice. Just for reference, I am 39 with color treated dark hair. My hair is pretty healthy overall, but I have some damage concerns. This product keeps the hair shaft smooth, shiny, separated, and straight, without the heaviness! Love!

I was so sad when Bumble & bumble discontinued the Cityswept spray, but now it's back! The Sumo Liquid Wax+ spray is almost identical, if not the same product. Same scent, same great hold. I have thick, Korean hair and this works great at holding loose waves without being too stiff.

Nozzle clogs
I would give this 5 stars as I think the product would be great, but I can’t get it to come out of the can. The spray nozzle clogs and nothing comes out. If you could fix the applicator, it would probably be great. Back it goes.

This works best for me after I blow dry my hair so it's super straight and then I use this as a finishing spray. My hair looks perfect all day! It gives it a nice shine and a natural look. It doesn't have a strong smell, which is fantastic if you don't like to smell like hairspray. If you don't go crazy spraying it, it feels smooth and soft. If you put on too much it can almost look oily (really it's waxy, it just separates hair into sections).
I spray it in a rainbow sweeping motion, a little at a time. It doesn't take much!
