Perfect for Braided hairstyles!
I love using this for braids! I saw another reviewer say that’s what they used, and so I bought it since I recently learned how to braid (Yeah, yeah.. i’m 20… just learned) and I hated how straggly my bleached blonde hair can look in a braid. This stuff is PERFECT for that! It held through my 12 hour shift at my serving job and made my hair look super shiny and healthy! I use tons of OLAPLEX but still, sometimes u just need that extra grip and hold to make the hair not get that… rough look… after a few hours in braids when you’ve been running around and don’t pay too much attention to it.

Good for braids
I don’t use like this advertise it. I really only use when I do French braids in my hair. I like it cause it give a nice shine but also has a good hold on my hair. I can leave my braids in for three days before washing it. It also doesn’t give me dandruff either.

Strong “masculine” scent
This is a decent product but the scent was too strong and “masculine” for me.
I think if my hair was shortI might be ok with the pomade like texture but compared to other products I’ve used in the past this one was a bit greasier than I’d like.
My intent was to use it to create textured ends but by the end of the day my hair felt more greasy despite being judicious with the amount I used.
The scent was a deal breaker as it clashed with my sweeter body cream and other products.
Overall it’s a decent product if you like a heavier scent and prefer a light pomade though it wasn’t for me.
