I am growing out a pixie and am having some bad stages! I have wavy and fine hair, but lots of it. I’ve tried a dozen products- cream, foam, pomade, wax, you name it. This gives my flat awful Bob some oomph. And texture. If I use it and scrunch wet hair, it holds my curls.if you’re looking for silky, smooth hair that you can run your fingers through, then this is NOT the product you want!

Love this soooo much. I have very fine hair, nothing else works for me. This product adds a ton of volume. Have been using it for years. Yes the ends will be dry so I just add a drop of oil to the ends and ready to style.

Gives fine hair some oomph
I have fine hair that won’t curl or hold volume. I use this when my hair is damp and use a dime size on the ends of my fingers all over. It give my hair just a little bit of grit without being greasy so my hair doesn’t look so flat. If I use too much I have to blow dry hair orherwise it turns crunchy. Still the best product I’ve found for fine hair.

Excellent product. Yes if you use too much it leaves your hair a bit crunchy. I wait till it’s fully dried and then brush my hair out, and use a sort of false back comb motion in my hair to restore any lost volume! And it holds all day. Just refresh with some dry shampoo and a little back combing

sticky and waxy feel
I wanted to love this product; I’m a big fan of many of their products, but this Dressing Creme left my fine hair into one gigantic ball of tangled, crunchy, sticky, and wax-like feeling mess that I just wanted to wash out after my hair dried. It just didn’t do anything positive or my hair, other than make it appear thicker. I will look for something else, it’s not for my hair type. Still am a fan of BB, but not this product.

My favorite
I have tried every hair texturizing thing and this is my favorite. People are complaining it is sticky or gritty -- the key for me is putting it in my wet hair, letting my hair dry (or blowdrying) and then combing my hair out. The grit is gone but the texture and fullness remains. My hair is so fine and this adds a lot of fullness.

Heavy and didn't work well on my fine hair
I wouldn't recommend this on fine hair. It didn't seem to give me the texture I wanted but was very heavy, sticky, and unpleasant.
That being said, I did notice that my friend who has thicker, straighter hair had very good results with this.
