This is a cool gadget for shampooing hair, especially for those with long nails or someone who wants a break from the additional manual scrubbing. It has silicone bristles so it's harmless and easy to clean. It also makes my hair washing routine easier than before. I applied the shampoo in my head throughly and then i used the brush to ensure that it was circulated throughout my hair. It's very relaxing and simple. It't not a complex tool at all. I wouldn't use this brush all the time but I would save it for when you had a hard day and just need something to relax with while washing your hair. Or if you had a protective style such as braids just to massage the scalp and give it some attention.

Dr. ForHair Actually Knows My Hair
I received this product for free from Beautytap.com in exchange for me to test and give my honest opinion and review. I have tried several scalp brushes before. Some I have tried knotted my hair up on me and somefelt like they did well..nothing. So when I received this one, I was kinda expecting one of the two. Well actually neither happen. With the extra thick bristles on this brush, I could actually feel it on myscalp. The brush didn't make my hair feel as though it was pulling it out or knotting my hair up. I really was surprised by how much I enjoyed this brush and how well it did with my hair.

A great addition to the routine
Received as part of an educational promotion. I’ve been using this scalp exfoliator shampoo brush for the past few washes, and it’s a simple addition that makes shampooing feel much more effective. The silicone bristles are firm enough to help loosen buildup and massage the scalp without feeling sharp or uncomfortable, and the ergonomic handle is easy to grip even with wet hands. I noticed my scalp felt cleaner after washing, especially around areas where I tend to get product buildup, and it also turned my shampoo routine into a relaxing scalp massage. It’s gentle enough that it didn’t tangle my hair or cause irritation, and it rinses clean and dries quickly between uses. If you enjoy a deeper cleanse or regularly use styling products or dry shampoo, this is an affordable tool that makes a noticeable difference.

Mixed feelings about this brush
In the past, I have tried other scalp shampoo brushes and felt like they were gimmicky. I heard so much about how great Dr. Forhair products are, so I decided to give these types of brushes a shot again. Starting with the design of this brush, I love its durable bristles, ergonomic handle, and detachable hanging strap. These features simplify the usage process.
As for the brush’s performance, I have mixed feelings about it. I tested its performance against two different types of shampoos (a clarifying detox one and a hydrating one). Even though I followed the brushing instructions for both of them, I felt it worked better with the hydrating shampoo, and my hair was lathered before brushing. When I tried to follow the instructions, it felt like my hair was being tangled. [reference: I have fine, type 2 hair] I will say that my hair did feel a little extra cleaner.
Personally, this brush is for me. Compared to most hair tools on Sephora, the price point is quite reasonable. I recommend this to anyone who loves scalp shampoo brushes and needs a replacement one. Also, this item would be great for anyone who tends to get their nails painted, so you don't ruin your nails and have a clean scalp

The Dr.FORHAIR scalp exfoliator brush feels great on the scalp. The brush molds perfectly on the hand and doesn't slip off the hand. I'm able to scrub and massage where I want since its very easy to control. It feels nice and it's not harsh on my head. The bristles on the brush are soft but sturdy enough to scrub nicely. I applied shampoo all around my head and then scrubbed in circular motions all around the head. It really feels like a good massage! I also like that I'm able to hang this easily in the shower so it can dry off. I'm glad to be adding this to my shampoo routine.

Scalp buildup has always been a problem for me. It can lead to dandruff, itchiness, and a dry, irritated scalp, so exfoliating regularly is an important part of my hair care routine. This scalp exfoliator has very soft silicone bristles that gently remove buildup, dead skin, and leftover product without scratching or irritating my scalp. It also gives a nice massage that helps increase blood flow and feels really relaxing while I shampoo. The shape fits comfortably in my hand, so it's easy to hold even when it's wet and soapy. I also like that it has a hanging loop, making it easy to hang up after each use so it can dry properly. It's simple, effective, and has made my scalp feel much cleaner and healthier.

Gets deep into the scalp!
After using the Dr FORHAIR Scalp Exfoliator Shampoo Brush for the last few days, I can honestly say it’s made a huge difference in my hair routine! For one, the brush is ergonomically shaped- making it super easy to grasp and use, even when wet! It also has a convenient hanging hook to hang dry in the shower, or out.
The actual bristles of the brush are soft silicone that still have somewhat of a firmness to them. Ensuring they get a deep clean, without being too rough. There also are multiple different lengths and sizes of them, to get every inch of your hair/scalp. Overall, I’ve noticed a huge improvement in overall scalp health, circulation and cleanliness after showering! If you’re looking for an exfoliating brush that truly stands out among the rest, this one is it!

I like it
I’ve used this scalp brush twice so far, and I’m honestly really impressed. It gives my scalp such a nice massage while I’m washing my hair, and it makes my hair-washing routine feel much more relaxing. The silicone bristles feel gentle but still do a great job massaging my scalp. My husband tried it too, and he really liked it as well. He even said it gives an amazing scalp massage. The brush feels very well made, fits comfortably in my hand, and is easy to use. I’m happy with the quality and will definitely keep using it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple way to upgrade their hair care routine.
