I am really loving this folligen thickening scalp tonic for thinning hair by dr. Forhair! Thankfully, I didn’t notice a prominent sentence which is usually something that loses a star for me. I don’t like when their products are super. I haven’t been using this product long enough to really know what is the difference, but I am excited to continue using it. The ingredients sound promising, and I am excited to see this brand and what they do for me. I will probably purchase more products if it works great

Thinning hair is not something anyone wants to deal with but here we are. I'm always looking for a solution to help, and trying out Dr. Forhair's Folligen Thickening Scalp Tonic for Thinning hair seemed promising after learning about it. You only have to use the scalp tonic once a day which I did for almost a week. After each application you gently massage it in and that part is great especially while smelling the peppermint scent that is in the tonic. It's a very relaxing experience in regards to self care. I didn't see much thickening of the hair as I assume that will come with time, but it does definitely give you volume. This tonic is quite the hair and scalp pick me up.

I've tried more scalp treatments than I can count, and most of them either did nothing or left my scalp red, itchy, and irritated within days. This tonic has been a completely different experience. The formula is genuinely gentle: no tingling, no burning, no flaking afterward... which matters so much when you have a sensitive scalp like mine that reacts to fragrance and harsh actives. What stood out most is the hydration factor. My scalp tends to run dry, especially with regular styling and heat, and this tonic actually soothes that tightness instead of just sitting on top of the hair. I mist it on at night, and by morning my scalp feels calm and moisturized rather than stripped. As for growth, I've noticed less shedding in the shower and some soft new baby hairs coming in. It's not an overnight miracle, but it's the first tonic that's felt like it's actually working with my scalp instead of against it. Lightweight, non-greasy, and easy to fit into a nightly routine. If you have a reactive or easily irritated scalp and want something that prioritizes hydration alongside growth support, this is worth trying.

As I age, I am noticing a diminished density at my hairline. I am looking for a product that feels substantial enough to stay in my follicles and easy enough to use so I don’t “forget” to apply it. This Dr. Forhair product meets both of those criteria PLUS it has this phenomenal icy feeling after you apply it. The smell leaves a bit to be desired as it kind of reminds me of a minted WD40. That aside, I enjoy using this product. I have used it on wet and dry scalp. If you like a minty cool feeling, it is intensified on wet hair. I can’t say I notice a huge difference in density after a week of testing but my hair looks good!!!!

First and foremost this doesn’t leave and sticky residue on the hair like the one I tried 2 weeks ago. It’s so lightweight and it drys so fast. I’ve seen difference on my hairline and my part. I love that it doesn’t have a nasty smell who says for the product to work it has to smell bad. I’m a hairdresser and while in school the teacher told us that. I love all the benefits this give my hair and scalp. I can get dry scalp and this has help decrease that since I’ve been using it. I part my hair spray roots and scalp the massage it in and it been working great I part the hair so I can get my scalp cause you don’t have part and just spray but I think to get truly what the products is telling you it’s gonna give you should part your hair so you can get most of your scalp.

This tonic seems promising, though I have not been using it long enough to see drastic results. I enjoy the spray mechanism over a serum as it is simply easier for me to stay consistent with. I use it before bed and give myself a nice scalp massage. It's lightweight and doesn't weigh your hair down, although I will say if you're a bit heavy handed it can leave kind of a film on your hair making a need to wash more frequently. I enjoy the cooking sensation and have noticed less hair fall so far.

I enjoyed being introduced to the brand Dr.Forhair. I appreciate that they have products with good effective ingredients with a wide range of formulas and uses. I got to try the folligen thickening scalp tonic. My first impression was favorable. I like the spray head and I like the formula. It doesn't really have a noticeable scent. It also doesn't make my hair look like weighed down once dry. Instead it actually does seem to give my crown some thickness. I like the versatility of being able to use it on damp or dry hair. I've done both and don't really have a strong preference either way. I look forward to continued use of this scrap tonic and look forward to seeing how it may bring lasting benefits.

I received this product for free on return for an honest review. My hair has recently shed more than anytime in my life and nothing was stopping it from happening, therefore my hair because SO thin. I was so desperate for a product to make my hair look better and thicker so I was happy I got a chance to try this product. I tried using it following the correct instructions but to be honest, I didn’t see much of a difference in my hair. Maybe it shows a bit thicker but not a game changing product or something I can’t live without. I might recommend this for my friends with thinner hair to make it look a bit fuller, but I won’t repurchase again.

Listen, as a 4C texture girl I wasn’t too sure about this one. My scalp is very picky about what I use and often times products lead to greasy build up and residue. Not this one. First the applicator is precise which I love as someone who wears braids and weave frequently. Being able to get exactly where I need to is a plus. The formula isn’t extremely heavy or oily, it’s a nice liquid formula that doesn’t weigh your hair down. The smell is very pleasant, it just smells fresh with a subtle hint of peppermint. Not super overwhelming at all. After I applied it I felt a slight cooling sensation that felt great! I cannot speak for hair growth as I’ve only tried it for several days but the ingredients list are all things proven to support healthy hair growth and retention. Personally this will absolutely be added to my collection no questions asked. I noticed a lot less dandruff and itching as well while using this product too. 10/10!

I’m glad Dr.FORHAIR is expanding their line of products. I have been seeing a lot of other brands with a similar scalp tonic product but since I’ve already been using their folligen shampoo, I thought this would be a nice addition to my hair care routine. I have been using this tonic every time after a hair wash day. There’s a slight tingly almost minty cooling sort of feeling after spraying it into your scalp (which I find pleasant) and the scent smells just like the shampoo which I like. What I like to do is after I towel dry my hair, I section my hair in the middle and to the sides of the middle part and spray directly onto my scalp. I like how there’s no residue or sticky feeling after my hair is dried. The tonic is a watery liquid consistency and it gets absorbed into my scalp really quickly. I also think the price point is worth the value of the product, it’s not overly expensive for a scalp tonic like the other brands. The easy to use nozzle sprays an even amount and I do about 2-3 sprays per section and brush it into my hair. I do like the slight volumizing effect it gives. Currently I wash my hair at least twice a week, my hair starts getting oily after the second day and even though I have straight, thin hair, I always feel like I’m losing a lot of hair as I’m brushing after hair washing. I do have a lot of baby hairs growing and I will continue monitoring with every use if it helps promotes hair growth or if it only helps with hair density and thickness. One of the claims for this brand is less shedding and I’m hoping with consistent use I will start noticing less shedding in my hair.
