I received this product complimentary for review, but all opinions are my own! This product sortof did as it was intended to when it came to volume, however I didn't like the texture that it left my hair with - it made it sort of sticky and clumpy. I felt it would've done a much better job if it was lighter and didn't weigh the hair down - perhaps a different spray nozzle would work better! Not a terrible product - just one that could be a lot better with small improvements

I don’t really know that this is a holy grail product, but it definitely adds texture and a little bit of life to my long fine limp hair. It’s easy to use and the bottle is sleek which I like. The spray is wet, which is important to know so I like to blow dry my hair after using it and either use a round brush or blow dry my head upside down. It smells just fine and leaves a little bit of grit to my hair. I feel like dry shampoo has a very similar effect to this root lifting spray so I don’t see myself reaching for this all the time. I do like that it doesn’t dry my scalp out. I would say if you have shorter hair than this would work better for your hair type. One really great feature to know is that it has heat protection up to 428°. I’m always looking for products the offer heat protection so I was very happy to see this!

It gave a little bit of volume but my hair super stiff and hard to work with. It was just so weird. Don't recommend!

I’ve been using the Kenra Root Lifting Spray 13, and it’s become one of my go-to products for adding volume. It gives my hair a noticeable lift at the roots without making it feel stiff or sticky. I really like that it feels lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down, even after a full day. The spray is easy to apply and works best when I use it on damp hair before blow-drying. I get a natural-looking boost that makes my hair look fuller and more styled, but still soft and touchable. It also holds up well throughout the day, which is a big plus. Overall, this is a great product if you want extra volume and lift without that crunchy feeling. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an easy way to add body to their hair.

As a long time beauty lover and enthusiast this hair product is a must have! I have fine hair and it always looks flat with no volume. This product helped tremendously with making my hair full of volume that lasted for days!! It didn’t make my hair oily or sticky which I love. It was super easy to use, all you do is spray the roots of your hair when your hair is damp and blow dry it normally. I used a big rounded brush and got the best blowout ever with this product. My hair looked fabulous for a couple days! I’m highly impressed with this product and I will definitely repurchase this hair product. You don’t need much either a little spray goes a long way. If you have fine or thin hair you should definitely try this product to see if it works as good on you too!

Not my favorite left a crunchy feeling on my hair. Did give volume to my hair so I guess it did what it intended to but it isn’t my favorite product.

As much as I want to live this product, I feel like it makes my hair a little wild every time I use this! naturally have pin-straight fine hair, that sits pretty flat on my scalp. I was excited that this would give me some volume and movement. While it looks great upon initial application, I stay to get the most annoying fly-aways mid way through my day. It is very lightweight and doesn’t make my hair look oily, dirty, or heavy! It has a nice pleasant scent and is very easy to use. I am going to continue trying this in a few different ways to see if I can get it to look smooth for the entirety of the day. I was grateful to have reciprocated this product in exchange for my honest review of this root lifting hair volumizer!

I am a hairstylist and have to admit, I do not normally love Kenra products, but I gave this a try. Honestly, it is just okay and definitely not my favorite option for a root lifter and volume root lifting spray. My main issue is the application of it because the product comes out very fast and aggressive, and the formula itself is very liquid/watery. As a professional I need control at the root, and this tends to oversaturate the area quickly, making the hair too wet before the blow dry. It creates an acceptable amount of volume if you work the round brush right, but the runny consistency makes it harder to work with than a foam or a more directional spray that doesn’t spray out so fast. I will give this 3 stars for over all rating.

This root-lifting spray is a must in every one of my blowouts. I blow-dry my hair after every wash, and without a spray, my roots stay completely flat. This product gives me real lift at the roots and makes such a difference. My hair looks fuller, soft, and still very light. I’ve tried many root-lifting sprays from different brands, and honestly, not many deliver results on fine hair like mine. It’s hard to impress me because fine hair gets weighed down so easily and most products don’t hold up. But this one works 100%, and my style lasts so much longer. I love a polished blowout, and this spray helps me get that every time.
