Kenra Professional Hot Spray 20 is a great heat protectant that also provides a nice firm hold, making it perfect for locking in styles while keeping the hair protected. I really love the scent of the spray. My clients are always commenting about how good the scent is. My only issue is the nozzle. After repeated use it tends to clog and stick, which wastes product because it stops spraying completely and becomes pretty useless. If the packaging were improved this would easily be a five star product.

I really enjoyed using this on my curls since I always diffuse my hair to dry it. If you diffuse your hair you do need to protect your hair still with a hair protectant but that reason this is even better, is because I also got an extra hold! So while I’m diffusing my hair, it’s holding my curls in place and it dried faster than usual.

It does spray out like a spritz not a mist so keep that in mind. But it does exactly what it is supposed to do! Kenra Platinum Hot Spray 20 is in my styling arsenal whenever I need heat protectant now. I use heat styling about 3-4 times a week, give or take. It has an amazing scent and makes me feel like I've left a salon as the products there always smell so nice, this in my opinion is a salon quality product too! I use this spray before my flat iron when I go straight (not often) but more often when my curls are unruly and need a curling wand to assist them. This product ensures a long lasting hold on my curls while also protecting my hair from heat damage. My hair stays set all day, even when I get hot and sweaty which all curly girls know is a recipe for disaster for our hair! I have also noted less frizz, and a smooth sleek shine to my hair after using this product! One thing to note: don't be heavy handed unless you like crisp curls, remember a little goes a long way when it comes to products like this! Overall I do recommend! Your curls will thank you!
