I cannot speak to the heat protection efficacy, but I can tell you my hair is silky and smooth after using this product. It is an excellent product for avoiding frizz, and the smell is amazing.

This says it is for fine hair but it left my hair very greasy. I would not recommend for fine hair but thicker hair could probably have good success with the product, I had to return it.

I really like this product, and I think it definitely helps protect my hair from All the damage I probably get from blow drying my hair everyday. The mist is almost like a powder or dry shampoo texture, and has a nice settle smell. makes my hair feel very soft. I like this product a lot, and the only reason I took a star off is because it was $28. I mean it's pretty good for the price, but the bottle is a little bit deceiving. It's fairly small, I mean it's a good size, but it's a little bit smaller than the picture and the bottle is plastic not a glass or metal texture like a picture makes it seem. overall a great product, it's going to last me quite a while, and I think it's definitely part of the reason that my hair has been feeling super soft recently!

Kenra Professional Blow-Dry Mist Frizz Control Heat Protectant for Fine Hair has become my new favorite hair product for frizz and heat protection. The packaging is so cute. I love the silver finish. Wait until you smell this spray! It is sooooooo good. One thing I also love about it is that it sprays in an extremely fine mist, so that I don’t have to worry about big drops coming out in concentrated spots. Instead it spreads perfectly even over my hair. This product is helping keep my hair healthy even while using my blow dryer and other heated tools often. I also struggle with a lot of little frizz and this also helps keep the frizz down. I absolutely love everything about this product. My hair is around a 2b pattern with frizzy tendencies. After years of bleaching and dying it’s very important for me to use heat protection and add a shine because I have noticed a dullness. This product does just that. It didn’t leave any greasy residue but left my hair clean, shiny and bouncy. This is without a doubt the best heat protectant I’ve ever used. I do not say that lightly. The smell is amazing adding a cherry on top to the benefits of this spray, paired with the thickening mouse and the hair spray, this trio is all that you need for the best blow out of your life. This is one of the best blow dry products I have used for my fine hair. The mist is super lightweight and has never weighed my hair down or made it feel greasy. That is always a struggle for me when trying to find a good product for my fine hair. This product helps control my frizz by adding smoothness and makes my hair feel softer and polished after blow drying. Getting that salon look at a much better price! I also love that it provides heat protection because I am not the best at remembering to use that. A little goes a long way, and it has noticeably sped up drying time. Platinum Blow-Dry Mist by Kenra Professional is super light weight and I enjoy using this mist because it makes your hair soft unlike hair spray where it feels stiff. I also enjoy that this is a hair protectant to prevent hair damage and I think it’s super important because I use a lot of heated hair tools on my hair and it dries out and usually doesn’t look as healthy. However after using the Kenra Professional Platinum Blow-Dry Mist, I see my hair’s shine has improved. Not only does it look healthier but after applying the mist, I instantly see my hair is less frizzy. It also looks smooth and shiny which it didn’t before I would shower and put conditioner on my hair but it wasn’t enough. So glad to be able to use this Kenra Professional Platinum Blow-Dry Mist. Kenra Professional Platinum Blow-Dry Mist is a new gem in my collection! After using it consistently for the last few weeks, I can honestly say it has become one of my favorite styling products.
