This serum is a game changer for my night “rejuvenation ritual”—it is light, moisturizing yet not greasy, and utterly soft to the touch. Sephora doubled the price with updated packaging
This serum used to be $10.50 last year. Sephora repackaged it and DOUBLED the price.
It's a good exfoliating serum and was a staple in my routine, however doubling the cost in less than a year is simply price gouging and greed. This is a basic formula that is easily found in other brands. Another Sephora staple has bitten the dust for me.

Great bang for your buck
The ingredients in this serum is exactly what I am looking for when I am looking for a serum that is going to really penetrate the layers of my skin. The serum pairs Well with the other Sephora collection in the pink bottle. The gel mask and the daily toner. It mainly helps out with texture, which is a big thing when it comes to people with oily skin and I’ll admit it huge pores. The consistency is thick, but not bothersome. I would say that for its price point it is definitely a step above some of the other more expensive brands.

I’ve been using this resurfacing serum for almost a month now. I like everything about it. The texture is non greasy and it doesn’t leave residue or stickiness behind. It works well with my other face products as well. It’s unscented, and gentle on my sensitive skin. I’ve really noticed a difference in the texture and pores on my face. Applying it nightly, I always wake up with glowy super smooth skin. I’m also prone to razor bumps on my thighs so I started using it there to see if it would help. It has helped! I have been using this serum with the Sephora resurfacing toner for over a week now and I love this whole line! First of all, I love that the products are certified clean and they have no awful chemical smell or negative side effects! After using this serum, my skin has become brighter while my dark spots and acne scars have faded a bit, not all the way yet, but I feel like they might! It doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or oily and absorbs pretty quickly into my skin. I don’t wake up feeling like my face is irritated or red, either!

This Resurfacing Serum by the Sephora Collection is an overnight exfoliating serum. The active ingredients are niacinamide and lactic acid (an AHA). Lactic Acid increases photosensitivity, meaning the skin becomes more vulnerable to UV damage. That’s why this serum is recommended for nighttime applications and SPF should be applied the following morning before sun exposure. This formula does not contain any added fragrance but I did detect an unpleasant “ingredient” type of smell. However, it did subside, thanks to it being fast absorbing. This serum pairs well with a lightweight moisturizer and doesn’t leave a greasy finish. I received this product as part of an educational promotion.
