This is my second review of one of these “pro” brushes. I was adding some hopefully nice brushes to my work kit and this is the second one out of 4 foundation brushes by Sephora that had fallen apart. One fell apart after one wash, this one made it through 3 washes before completely losing its shape. The perimeter started to slip out leaving the center sunken in. If you’re using this as a personal brush, it may last longer, but as a mua, I have to wash every time they’re used. These are clearly not made well because I’ve had brushes of all price points in my personal, and work kit, that have lasted years. Do not waste your money like I did!

Fell apart
Was really excited to upgrade my brushes to something more professional. I think I had the brush for maybe a year and a half or 2 years, so maybe that is considered good value for a brush, but all the bristles started falling out and while cleaning today, the whole brush top came off. Considering the brush is $50 I would've considered better construction. Will be going back to drug store!

I use as cream blush brush
I like to use this brush to apply my cream blush. I’ve had mine for years, actually a collab brush with Mara Hoffman. I’ve never used it for foundation as I apply it with beauty blender.

After 16 years- need a new one
The subject is all you need to know. This brush is tough!!! I used it nearly everyday and it has worked incredibly to blend my liquid foundations to my face. I would use Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo to wash it every Sunday and it kept working nicely. After 16 years, the hairs in the brush are starting to come out. Just need to replace it is all! This is such a durable brush that did the job for my foundation! 10/10 would recommend. Great brush by Sephora.

Suggested Usage: -Buff foundation onto skin in light, circular motions, starting at the center of the face and working outward. -Build coverage in thin layers until the finish looks even and airbrushed. -Use less product on the brush for the cleanest, most seamless application.
Care Instructions: -Clean brushes regularly to help remove oils, excess product and debris. Regular cleaning also helps extend bristle life and supports smoother application and blending. -For a daily clean, spray Sephora Collection Daily Brush Cleaner (sold separately) onto a dry towel or cloth, then gently wipe bristles until clean. -For a deeper clean, wash bristles monthly with Sephora Collection Deep Cleaning Brush and Sponge Shampoo (sold separately). -Rinse, reshape, and lay flat to dry.
