This product is very heavy and works best for dry, mature skin. If you have oily or acne-prone skin this product is definitely not for you. I love it and either apply it directly after prepping with a light oil, or I mix a small dollop into my lighter day creams to help thicken them a bit. I don't use this cream everyday but someday I might need to. The negative comments are likely from people who probably shouldn't have purchased this specialized product in the first place.

Wow! The quality of this cream is amazing! It is by far my favorite Estée Cream! I am a mature woman with dry skin. I noticed the difference overnight! I am going to continue to use this as my night cream. I hope that you never discontinue it. It is one of the very best creams for mature skin on the market!

Awful smell

Although I use other Renutriv products, this one has a permanent spot in my Renutriv toolbox. Some people hate the fragrance. I find it very relaxing at the end of a long day, and I actually look forward to using it, even if it goes on top of another Renutriv product! I have dry skin generally all year round, and this helps. It is also very good on the neck and decolletage area, which is a good thing as Estee doesn't seem to presently offer a dedicated moisturizer for this often neglected area. This was my first entry to Renutriv about thirty years ago, and I have returned to it again and again. And again....

I have been using EL for a couple of decades and am a big Re-Nutriv fan since the series started. This one is the worst ever, the biggest disappointment - the thick texture, yellow color, and horrendous smell, which ringers on my skin for hours. I put a small amount on my face to test out, and immediately am hating it so much, that I decided to write a review. It is not worth the money. Terrible job, EL!

I heard that this cream is a classic creme originally developed by Mrs. Estée Lauder herself in the 1950s, so I couldn't resist buying itand I ended up loving it! I'm in my 20s with combination/normal skin, and even though this creme is often aimed at more mature skin, it works really well for me. My skin tends to get unbalanced with seasonal changes, but after using this creme for more than two weeks, I can feel my skin becoming healthier, more stable, and glowing. To be honest, the texture isn't greatit's thick and sticky like glue, absorbs slowly during the day, and the scent is totally different from other Re-Nutriv products, more like a lily fragrance. But its repairing effect is so good that I can overlook these downsides. You only need a tiny amount each time. Re-Nutriv is the best skincare line, and I want to try Re-Nutriv Creme Lightweight next.

I thought I would treat myself to this moisturizer as it is considerably more expensive than my usual Estée moisturizer. Big mistake. The smell is horrendous! Unfortunately it's been more than 30 days since I opened it so I can't return it. I would love to exchange it and will try to do that. Don't make the same mistake I did or at least try it at a store before you commit. Don't waste your money in this. It really is awful.
