Had to return twice and get a new one sent to me. This item was defective. It would leak and then not turn on. I troubleshooted with customer service and made sure the travel lock wasn’t on but no luck. TWICE. Pretty frustrating since it’s such an expensive item.

Waste of money
I’ve only had this product for three nights and I absolutely hate it. It makes weird noises, cuts off, randomly in the middle of the night on a full charged battery, and water doesn’t even come out of it half the time (and yes I am using it correctly). I’ve taken the water out, cleaned the humidifier and it still makes a weird sound. For $100 I am disappointed my money went to waste especially since I’ve heard great things about this product.

Not only does this only run when plugged in, even after having been charged (thus defeating the purpose of an allegedly "wireless" humidifier), but also it does not project any steam whatsoever. Even when pressing my face against the device I could hardly feel anything, yet I see promotional photos of this being placed on airplane trays, suggesting that it has enough projection for that? Maybe I just got a defective product, but I cannot wait to return this overpriced useless piece of junk.

I never write reviews... I saw an ad for this and thought it seemed gimmicky.... a portable humidifier?? Do i *need* it?? but truthfully, I really needed *something* because the house is SO dry. My roomie was adamant we didn't need a new humidifier for the house, so I figured I'd just get one for myself then. My sinuses were so dry, my skin was also suffering, so I bit the bullet. I, uh... LOVE IT. I have used it almost every single night since I got it. My skin feels smoother, my sinuses aren't so dried out, and I feel like I'm sleeping WAY better. It's such a game changer!! I am looking forward to taking it with me when I travel.
I didn't realize it came with a scent either--I haven't used it yet so I can't speak on the effectiveness of that. I would recommend getting a humidity meter to put nearby to make sure wherever you're putting it doesn't get *too* humid. This doesn't raise the humidity a lot, especially if it's set on low, so it's not a huge concern for me. On high, it can raise it quite a bit. It's a nice option to have!
If you're in need of something like this and on the fence, I'd say GO FOR IT!!

Suggested Usage: -Use the Canopy Portable Humidifier daily.
-Move to desired location.
-Charge the Canopy Portable Humidifier.
-Fill the tank with distilled water to reduce scale buildup.
