Great formula, poor applicator

I loved this formula and color. It gave the right amount of color and shine. It wasn’t sticky at all and it had a little plumping effect and hydration. However, I only gave it three stars because the applicator broke.

Applicator breaks within a few uses each time

The gloss itself is amazing but the applicator SUCKS. I bought one, the applicator broke, Sephora replaced it and within less than 5 uses the applicator broke on the second one! Now I have no way to apply the gloss. So sad.

Applicator broke on 2 of my brand new ones

Ok I love the way this stuff feels and have been using the glosses for a long time now but the last couple that I’ve bought the applicator breaks off inside the tube within the first week or two of use. I never had this problem with the product until recently so I assume they have just changed how they manufacture it but it’s a bummer cause it’s not like you can retrieve the applicator if it’s stuck in the tube. Tried to get it replaced but since I hadn’t even used it within the 30 day post purchase period, I didn’t know it was a problem until afterwards so they couldn’t help. Bummer because I love a good gloss but won’t be purchasing this again!

Sephora - stand behind your products!

The product applies beautifully and gives a nice, glossy finish. The Fig shade is flattering and not overly dark, which I really liked. However, after about four months of use, with roughly 3/4 of the product still remaining, the applicator brush detached and became stuck inside the tube, making the lip gloss completely unusable. I contacted Sephora to request a replacement, but they declined, stating that the purchase was outside their 30-day return window and advised me to contact the brand instead. This is very disappointing. When a product is clearly defective, customers shouldn’t have to go through extra steps with the manufacturer to resolve the issue. At this price point, I expected better quality and customer support. Unfortunately, I’m left with a $40 product I can no longer use. Sephora, stand behind the products and brands you sell.

Really nice gloss … color goes on even and smooth. Non-drying to the lips and a little goes a long way. One star off because it is more like a lip oil … doesn’t last long … need to keep reapplying.
