I just got this today. I read the instructions on the packing carefully before applying and followed them exactly. This lip lacquer is amazing! High shine, pigmented and completely transfer proof. Yes, It stays a little bit sticky, but it honestly didn’t bother me at all. I absolutely love it and can't wait to get more colors!

I own way too many shades of the Haus Labs Lip Lacquer… and I have zero regrets. The glossy finish gives the perfect shine without feeling sticky, and once it sets, it’s not going anywhere. It survives eating, drinking, and yes even the occasional kiss. The only trick is to apply a thin layer and let it fully dry before you do the lip smacking thing. After that? You’re golden. Good Not Great

Originally bought this in Sheer Petal and was disappointed by the color payoff—nothing like the photos in terms of pigment and opacity. I recently tried another shade and can say it matches the online swatches much more accurately with 1–2 light coats. I would not apply more than this (and let dry fully) to avoid feeling sticky or leaving residue on cups, etc. It always stays a little sticky, but is only annoyingly so if applied too heavily, IMO. Other thoughts: The color wears very well/lasts all day, though it doesn’t maintain its shine fully. It smells like what I imagine paint thinner smells like, but it doesn’t linger once dry. It will accentuate wrinkles on lips.

disappointing

the color didnt look like the pictures, it didnt look as glossy as the pics, and was way too sticky. very disappointing. ive seen a few reviews saying that they had to “learn” how to set it, but im not interested in a product that requires me to waste time on learning how to use it.

Sticky like a glue

I had really high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, I didn’t like it at all. The biggest issue for me is how incredibly sticky it is. It feels almost like glue on the lips, which makes it very uncomfortable to wear. I also expected it to be much more long-lasting, but it didn’t even make it through a few hours of drinking and eating. The color is beautiful and probably the only thing I truly liked about it. Unfortunately, the formula completely outweighed that positive for me, so I wouldn’t purchase it again.

contains alcohol.

it smells like alcohol and definitely has some, because it burns my chapped lips every time I use it. the color looks very different than the pictures. not necessarily a bad color but very different and darker and not sheer at all. even a thin coat gives a lot of tint. The shine is very minimal. if you let it rest for a few minutes, it won't transfer.

I bought this product after seeing an influencer test and rate it at the same time. Shame on her for being misleading, because this product is nowhere near what she described. It leaves a very sticky feeling on your lips, feels drying, and is not long-lasting. It is not buildable because it does not dry down on your lips. It continues to feel sticky throughout the day, which is very uncomfortable.
