Too thick for a leave in
For reference I have dense but fine curly hair. I was surprised at how heavy this product was. Unlike most leave in conditioners that you spray all over your head, for most type 2/3 curlies you can only use a little bit of this product before it starts to weigh down hair. To me that sort of defeats the purpose of a product that’s supposed to be a heat protectant

MUST Have For My Brittle Hair!
LOVE this!! I’ve searched and searched for a good heat protector that didn’t contain denatured alcohol, didn’t make my hair more frizzy, or heavy/greasy. This Miracle shield had me hooked at the first use. It eliminates frizz, makes my hair soft and shiny, and doesn’t weigh it down. It also helps smooth down my frizz prone areas. I’m still amazed at how good this stuff turned out to be! I use it two ways: I use it according to the instructions when I’m blow-drying. Also, if I need to flat iron a day or so after I blow-dry, I’ll use a quick spray on my dry hair in the area I’m ironing, blow dry that section with some low heat/low speed just till the miracle shield is dry, then flat iron. A little goes a VERY long way, so just be sure to use it sparingly! If your hair is feeling weighed down, dial back the amount you’re using.
For reference, I have fairly normal, naturally wavy hair that is on the thin side, but after years of foil highlights it has become prone to frizz and breakage from blow drying and hot tools.

I was gifted by curlsmith. I recently have died my hair red, and this has helped a lot with maintaining the damage when I put heat to my hair the smell is really good. The only thing I wish was different was the spray nozzle it does spray out a lot of product didn’t lose your hair soaking wet so you do you have to wait a little bit before using a styling tool on your hair but overall it’s a good product.
