Curlsmith Awestruck Definition Cream is a pleasant medium hold and medium thickness (not too thin or thick) gel lotion cream that makes my wavy hair feel soft and conditioned.
I’m new to definition creams so yes on my wavy, medium thickness hair, it did feel slightly heavy with product build up after two consecutive uses. I think it is probably meant to be used with a clarifying shampoo of some kind. The product says “for all curl types” so maybe I just haven’t found the right routine for it yet as a novice since it did feel nice on first use. Perhaps this is a cream to be used with a break in between.
The scent is like a fruity citrus scent similar to something between peach and mango with some florals. It’s nice that it’s not an ultra strong scent. Though I am picky with my scents and wish this one would be slightly less fruity sweet and more floral clean.

This curl crème is awesome. It molds my curls so perfectly and effortlessly that I love it. It also is pretty nourishing so it gives my hair health after a shower. I think this stuff will also last a long time.

I have wavy hair that I have been trying to train better because I honestly never took that great care of it. I’ve heard such great things about curlsmith so I had to try it out for myself! Perfect addition!
I love this curlsmith definition cream because it gives me definition without making my hair feel weighed down. My curls stayed soft all day long, had less frizz, and still had some hold without feeling crunchy. I also noticed I didn’t need to use as much gel as I normally do. I followed the instructions on the container and it worked really well for me.

Bouncy, Soft Curls
This cream is so incredibly lightweight and doesn’t feel greasy at all. I apply the cream to my wet hair and comb it through to make sure every strand is evenly coated. Whether I let my hair air dry, or use a diffuser, it performs beautifully either way. My curls come out defined, bouncy, and soft every time. The cream provides a medium hold, which keeps my curls in place without making them feel stiff or causing them to fall flat. Best of all, it's the first curl cream I've tried that doesn't leave my hair frizzy. Overall, this is an excellent nourishing curl cream that provides definition, soft hold, and frizz control while keeping my curls healthy and hydrated.

I love Curlsmith products in general for my wavy-curly hair. The very front of my hair is fine-medium and the rest is coarse. This looks great on the coarse hair, enhancing my curls and not weighing down my hair. On my wavy hair, this looks a little on the stringy side and I don't notice any real improvement aside from lessened frizz, which is noticeable overall. The scent is not my favorite but not bad either. There are other Curlsmith products that work better for my specific hair needs so I will try this a few more times with different products, and hope I have better luck.

This one really impressed me. It gives my curls nice definition while still keeping them soft and touchable. I was expecting it to feel heavy because it's a cream, but it actually feels lightweight and doesn't weigh my hair down. I applied it to damp hair, scrunched my curls, and let my hair air dry. It helped tame frizz, enhanced my natural curl pattern, and gave me enough hold that I didn't feel like I needed a ton of extra styling products. I also like that my curls still had movement instead of feeling stiff or crunchy. A little goes a long way, so I don't need much product each time.

Great at defining curls
This works well beyond my expectations! I used this on my own hair and my family. First of all the smell was so pleasant and nice. It’s not a nauseating scent at all, but more of a nice fruity/tropical smell. I used it on damp hair with just a brush and no other tools, it defined my curls SUPER well. It also made them look hydrated and nourished. I will definitely start using this in my hair routine from now on, this is a 10/10 cream. It’s super easy to use and makes my hair look amazing.
