Too smelly and crunchy
I desperately wanted to love this but for starters the smell was overwhelming. I don’t mind some scent but I could smell this on clothes and jackets days after. It also made my hair quite crunchy. My curls are 2B/2C and while it did refresh them a bit, it wasn’t quite what I was looking for.

Very drying and sticky for my finer hair
Definitely not a product meant for my hair. I have a mix of fine wavy hair on top on more course waves underneath and this did nothing but make all of my hair sticky and dry. It smells so strong and gave me a headache pretty quickly but I am sensitive to fragrance so that makes sense. The waves did form and have semi-decent hold but they looked so dry and brittle that I would much rather do the work with a curl cream and gel to have nice waves.

Love love love this product for refreshing my waves! After sleeping on them, they always need a little reviving in the morning. I just wet my hair with a sprayer bottle, spray 2-3 drops of this into my hands for each half of my hair, gently rake it in, scrunch up, and I'm good to go. This is a great lightweight product for waves - a little goes a long way and there's no risk of weighing it down, greasiness, a cast, etc. The bottle will last literally forever. Highly recommend!

When I want to rock my wavy hair without spending much time or effort, I reach for this spray. While I know other products give me more definition, this one is incredibly convenient and helps me avoid heat damage from blow-drying it straight. I've used it a couple of times, and I find it works best when used alone with a bit of hair oil at the end. Combining it with another wave or curl product sometimes leaves my hair feeling sticky and heavy, but that might be because I haven't figured out the right amounts to use. My preferred method is to spray it on my palms and then run it through mostly wet hair so I keep a spray bottle filled with water on hand.
