Ugh..why the formula change?

Can we please stop trying to change things and accept them the way they are? I'm a licened esthetician and absolutely loved this product. Change the formula to add fragrance to mask the scent is such a disservice. Sulfur is a keratilytic. It's exfoliating, antibacterial, and antifungal. It is incredible for acne and skin conditions, however it smells strong. I mean, the Bible literally called it brimstone. It smells, "eggy" and strong..but that's what it is. Changing the formula to tone it down and adding more ingredients adds more potential for reaction. Honestly I think the mask is less effective now. What a loss of a solid product.

A life saving skin treatment

I love this product. It’s the ONLY thing that has helped my skin and I always have an extra one on hand. BHA’s (like Salicylic acid) and other stuff never worked for my sebaceous filaments. I used other products for months to no avail. I have been using this sulfur mask every night on my face for 3 months now and it’s the only thing I used on my skin besides a non occlusive oil free moisturizer (fyi I have a very strong skin barrier and had no irritation with this) and let me just say PLEASE NEVER STOP MAKING THIS PRODUct. It has completely gotten rid of my filaments and tightened my pores so they are practically invisible now even without makeup. Rebalanced my oily skin and gave me a chance at having normal skin again after years and months of trying other products that never helped me. THANK YOU so much Peter Thomas Roth. 🥲❤️❤️❤️❤️ Even if you just need a sulfur spot treatment for a pimple , buy this product instead of those other 0.2-0.5 oz $20-30 tubes Sephora sells. You’ll save money in the long run and they don’t work as well as this product works.

Mixed feels about this product - Texture wise, it feels luxe and absorbs nicely without feeling greasy — which I appreciate. After a couple weeks of using it consistently, I did notice my skin looked a bit more hydrated and bouncy, especially on days when my skin was feeling dull. But I didn’t get the dramatic “firmer, sculpted” look that i was expecting — more like a subtle glow and hydration boost.

Amazing for Rosacea and Seb Derm!

Used to be the holy grail for cystic acne

I’m devastated that they changed the formula. This is the only thing that works to get rid of cystic acne, and I’ve tried everything. I would leave this on as a spot treatment all day, and then by night the pimple cleared up.

Why the fragrance??

Formula change with added fragrance. I used to use this for years! I have sensitive skin and cannot use skincare with fragrance..

Formula change is awful

I’ve been using this mask for years and they had to go and change the formula. They added fragrance and it feels watered down now. Will not be purchasing again.
