Okay honestly, this didn’t do it for me. My hair is thin and long, and I do have damage. This didn’t strengthen, hydrate, or perform anywhere near what I was expecting a near $40 bottle to do. I now use $5 raw shampoo for curly hair and it hydrates and strengthens better. I did keep trying this since there’s so much shampoo but overall not worth for me

Horrible allergic reaction to skin and scalp
After receiving some Briogeo samples I decided to buy this. I had an allergic reaction on my neck and ears, and could not figure out if it was this or the Act and Acre Salicylic acid scalp treatment. Well after 3 visits to urgent care, multiple steroid creams and a course of antibiotics, I healed up, and tried this product once more. This time, same reaction, with a massive reaction on my scalp that caused itching and sloughing. For context I do not have sensitive skin and try new products on my face/hair/scalp all of the time, but never had anything like this happen. Stay away. Not only this but I am out $69 TIMES TWO as I tried to return/get store credit but Sephora only processes refunds 30 days after purchase.

My Hair is Tumbleweed
Just used this shampoo for the first time expecting my hair would feel nourished after, and it’s the driest my hair has ever felt in my life. I put in two leave ins and oil and it’s still the texture of tumbleweed. Very disappointed

Moisturizing!
I have fine, coily, high porosity hair that I wear in microlocs. I also struggle with dandruff and use Nizoral weekly which is very drying. I’d been looking for a moisturizing shampoo to add to my wash routine after using Nizoral and I found this one to be very moisturizing. It doesn’t weight my hair down but I can see a difference in my wash day routine. My har is a lot more moisturized than it usually is right after wash day.

So moisturizing and it feels amazing on my hair!
I’ve been using the Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Super Moisture Shampoo and honestly, it’s so good. The smell is really neutral so it's not too strong or perfumey, which I love. It has this pretty pearlescent color to it that just makes it look fancy which I swear the best shampoos always have!
The texture feels nice and rich but not heavy, and it lathers up really well. My hair feels super moisturized after washing, not dry or stripped at all. It leaves my hair soft, smooth, and healthy-looking every time.
I’ve tried a lot of shampoos that claim to be moisturizing, but this one actually delivers. It’s gentle enough for regular use and still feels like a little self-care moment in the shower. Definitely a five out of five for me!
