What it is: A fluffy, dome-shaped kabuki brush with multiple uses.
What Else You Need to Know: Form meets function with Yachiyo Kabuki Brush. Its fluffy, gently tapered, spiral-dome head is used to define cheekbones and highlight, blend, and diffuse color on the face and eyes. Its hand-spun, black wisteria handle showcases its unique character.
This brush is so nice. I love it for detail work however I am nervous if I pack it in my touch up bag, the detailing on the handle seems fragile. But otherwise very soft and perfect.

New Version Doesn’t Compare
I was so excited to finally get my hands on this brush because I thought it was discontinued. However, I’m thoroughly disappointed. Mainly, the older version of this brush was longer & the craftsmanship was so intricate.
near the bristles was so intricate browser intricate

I don’t get the hate
Honestly I don’t know why so many negative reviews for this brush. It’s exactly what was missing from my collection. The bristles are a bit coarser than some of my other brushes but I like that. It picks up just the right amount of product for a sheer wash of colour on the cheeks. It’s excellent!

Regular brush
It’s a visually appealing brush, mostly if you collect brushes. Otherwise I would not really purchase again. The bristle are not as soft as I would expect for the price they are a little rough and the brush has nearly no heft to it the size is nice for blush or powder but not worth $40 for an everyday brush.

Don’t do it. New version is awful.
I’m so sad to say I hated this. I had an older (much older) version that was perfect for powder blush. This new version has much stiffer bristles that are so plastic-y it barely picks up product and if it does manage to pick it up it lays down patchy.

Long lasting quality
I have had this brush since 2014 when i was starting my makeup journey and it’s still in amazing shape. i use it everyday and gently clean it regularly and the way it has held up is unreal.

I’m buying a replacement because my husband dropped mine in the toilet! This is the best brush I’ve ever used.

The only precision blush brush for this artist.
I took a chance when I began my career as a makeup artist and purchased this exact blush brush. I remember feeling apprehensive because of the price ( the brush was more expensive at that time ). I went for it because I felt my clients would deserve the quality application this brush stayed it could. Once I had the brush and used it several times, I agree that this brush does everything it said it would. My brush is now 10 years old. Of course I have had a few hairs fall out. Of course I have had to clean the wrap of the brush. I would still buy it again if my brush wasn’t still like new. The brush reminds me of a Chinese calligraphy brush. It allows you to apply what every amount of detail you want be it a full blended cheekbone or a small tight touch to the nose or chin. It’s pointed shape gives you the detailed control needed for anyone looking to take their blush seriously. After your blush is applied, you can clean the brush and go back and buff the areas with the same precision you used to apply the blush. In a pinch I have also used this brush to apply my high liter as well. This means it is not only a precision blush brush but also a multi use tool. I hope you have found my review useful as it is 100% genuine and I wish every artist to love the tools they use.

Perfect for very pigmented blush
I came here to do justice for this brush. I don’t understand all the negative reviews, like this brush hurts people. It gives the same sensation as real hair brushes. It is absolutely perfect for highly pigmented blushes. I will buy another one or the hakahudo version.

Synthetic version is awful
I had the original version for years, and I bought this as a replacement when mine started wearing out. The synthetic version is awful. Thin, crunchy fibers that do nothing to blend product and feel scratchy and fake.

Suggested Usage: -To cleanse your NARS brushes, dispense a small amount of gentle soap (or your favorite makeup brush shampoo) onto brush and rinse with water until water runs clean. -Avoid wetting the handle of the brush. -Gently reshape fibers after rinsing. -Lay flat or hang upside down to dry.
