fantastic finisher

disclaimer I consider the water drench cloudcream to be one of my HG moisturizers, that said, I use a lot of actives in my routine because I have breakout prone skin and I love a full face glam makeup everyday which means my skin barrier sometimes needs a lot of help. so I got this kind of on a whim because I know that their regular cloud cream works incredibly well for me. and honestly, my first time trying it after applying all my acids,retinol, my serums, my skin was pretty red within under 5 minutes of my redness was gone. the consistency when you first get it out of the tube does genuinely remind me of the lrp b5 balm but it does disappear on skin almost immediately. I think comparing it to that as that being the closest I actually prefer this. it is double the price but it doesn't feel nearly as heavy. it feels pretty lightweight. I don't think it adds any greasiness to my skin. my skin feels very very soft and it doesn't leave any kind of cast. It also dries down to a non-oily finish which I absolutely love.

I love this one. I used 100 points to snag a trial sized and I came back and bought the full sized. The smell of this product is eh and it has a little bit of silicone like texture but it freaking works. Good by red irritated winter skin and hello calm healthy moisture barrier.

This product is terrible. It did the opposite of what it’s intended for. It caused my skin to flare with redness and very dry patches that has been bothersome for over a week now. I regret buying this recommended product. Zero stars.

I got a small trial size of this and I loved it. My face is pretty dry and sometimes flaky, but this stuff was good enough to keep it moisturized and it wasn’t greasy.

Did the opposite of what I wanted

I got this as a sample and was really excited to try it as the final step of an already pretty strong nighttime routine (in other words, this product is the only variable I changed, leading to the results I’m about to describe). I normally wake up with calm, even-toned skin that’s still a bit glassy from all my hydrating products (I live in the high desert so I slather up). The morning after I added this to the routine, I woke up with red patches, a small flare of perioral dermatitis which I’d only recently gotten under control (ugh), and flaky skin on my cheeks and between my nose and lips. Wanted to love this. It felt nice going on. But sadly it doesn’t work for my super-hydrating needs!

obsessed!!!

some disclaimers: a) i’m a PTR enthusiast and b) i use the other two water drench moisturizers so if you use other moisturizers, your results may vary my skin’s been super dry because of the winter and i live in a super cold area. i have super dry skin and with it being dark, when my skin gets veeeery dry, you can see white lines on my face and i look ashy on my face. i was kinda worried it wouldn’t help much with how flakey my skin was getting but with the cold-snap we had, i used this morning and night after my moisturizer for a week to protect my skin and after like 3 days, my flakiness wasn’t as bad, my skin didn’t feel tight or sensitive, and my skin didn’t breakout or anything which i get worried about with new products. plus, it’s cost effective imp because a little goes a long way and left over from when i apply it to my face also makes me hands a little soft. i highly recommend this!

A little goes a long way I’m prone to contact them initiative and this helps reduce redness with just a few uses. It has a lightweight formula that absorbs into the skin so nicely. Very moisturizing and non scented. Perfect for sensitive skin.
