Moisturizing but does not clean whatsoever. It makes no difference to the color retention while your scalp and lengths will not be clean at all. This should be marketed as a weak co-wash.

Literally traumatizing
I dyed my hair red recently and was recommended this system to protect the color by my stylist. I expected to see some red still coming out, but not like this. The water was cold and still completely red. Also, my hair was so dry and literally breaking off in the towel after I washed and conditioned. I tried to save it with a leave in and a hair oil. It was so dry I could barely brush it. I had to get back into the shower and do a deep condition. Do not buy this. It’s a huge waste of money.

Never seen my dye fade so fast
This stuff is awful.
Dyed my hair pink and blue, normally would last at least 4 showers before fading with functional colour protecting shampoos/conditioners I've used.
This stuff?
My hair lost a bunch of colour after the first shower, second the blue is almost green and the pink is neutralizing intro a disgusting shade of browny yellow.
What a huge waste of money.

I have a lot of allergies to chemicals and after a very long hunt to find a new shampoo, I’m happy to report that this one didn’t contain any of the allergens and did not break out my scalp/neck eczema. I have naturally black hair and get my roots touched up often, and can confirm that this shampoo does NOT cause colour fading! It’s incredible. My hair is also crazy shiny now. I always bring my own shampoo to my stylist because of the allergies and she loved this one so much that she’s going to buy some for her back-bar. The formula is thick and creamy and lathers up SO much. You don’t need much for hair that’s past your shoulders. The smell is excellent as well. I’ll buy this for as long as it’s available, please never stop carrying this at Sephora!
