I've been repurchasing this setting powder for years. It gets the job done! However lately, I have been noticing that it is settling into my pores way more than it used to. The foundation that I use was recently reformulated, so that might be the case as to why. Overall a good and solid staple in my routine. I will likely be purchasing for years to come, unless something better catches my eye.

Good product, terrible packaging
I love the look of this translucent powder and appreciate that it is talc-free.  however, it is very hard to dispense the powder, and unlike your average drugstore powder, you cannot remove the lid to make sure you are getting to use all of it. This is very frustrating, especially given the very high price point.

daily setting powder
I purchased the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder after seeing consistently strong reviews and because I’ve always loved Hourglass products. I bought it as a set with the Veil Powder Brush, and the combination completely changed how I apply setting powder.
The powder itself is incredibly fine‑milled and gives a beautiful airbrushed finish without looking overly matte or dry. It blurs and sets makeup while still keeping the skin looking dimensional and natural. My makeup genuinely lasts all day when I use this.

Less drying than Huda
Huda was caking esp under the eyes. I’m happier with this. It doesn’t cake. Silky fine formula. I’m over 40 with oily skin. Note this is more blurring than setting. Requires a spray to really lock it in.

worth the coin
has a great texture. blends well. doesn’t sit on top of your skin. the packaging is nice. people are saying that the powder is difficult to get to, i just flip it upside down quickly then open it, perfect amount and none is wasted.

Can't access all of product b/c of bad packaging
I want to give this product more stars b/c i like the powder well enough, but the packaging is terrible! I've had to fight to get the last 1/8 of the product out of the case, and it's still stuck. the top is glued on, so it's impossible to access the bit that is stuck in the container. For the money, it's not worth it.
