Hourglass' Ambient Soft Glow Foundation gives good coverage, soft matte natural finish, but still with a nice 'glow-from-within' quality. I like that it's a medium coverage, but buildable. It helps to cover the few acne scars I'm trying to fade. I found the texture slightly matte, but not flat. It still looked very natural. I did try to use it at first with a Beauty Blender and found it didn't look that great. The texture and application looked off with the Beauty Blender. I used clean fingertips (I always constantly wash my hands with an anti-bacterial soap when doing my makeup) and I found applying it with fingertips worked better because it would warm up and melt into the skin. It didn't settle into pores. As for the 'glow-from-within,' Wow! Again, it does have a matte, not flat finish. It made me glow like I was always in candlelight, but I didn't look greasy or oily. I also noticed it wore very well in the Arizona hot desert summertime. Plus it felt lightweight during the day. I would definitely purchase again.

I've used this a handful of time since purchase now, and the product has great coverage without drying out my skin more (i have very dry skin). My skin is pretty sensitive too - i have had no issues with using this foundation. i color matched in person and am very happy with the choice! i definitely feel like it accomplishes the soft glow look. i pair it with powder bronzer, liquid blush and a dewy spray to finish.

Disappointing! Not like the OG Immaculate product
It did matify my skin, but felt like a mask. Did not blend well and felt heavy. The Immaculate foundation went on like silk and felt like nothing on the skin while providing a flawless finish. Discontinuing it was a huge mistake. This is not even close. Premium price for drug store finish
