Waste of $$
Waste of Money, this contour is to greasy, colors are not great in the light or fair palette for skin tones and ends up looking muddy but what I really disliked about it most is that the contour settles into your pores and makes little dark specs on areas where applied! I don't have large pores or my other contours don't do this. Also if you have sensitive shin don't put the lighter colors any where near eyes, my eyes are still burning even after removing it.

The newly released shades have better texture
I originally bought the Light pallet when these were first released. Much like others, there’s just something about the consistency that I wasn’t in love with. I have dry skin, I use oil to help stay hydrated, but something about the formula felt almost greasy. That said, when the shade expansion came along I so badly wanted to love this that I bought the Fair pallet. YES!! It’s everything I was hoping the other would be and I don’t think it’s just the difference in shade. The texture of this newly released pallet sits so effortlessly on my face, I could honestly go without foundation. I usually just throw on a touch of Chanel’ Water Fresh Tint and I’m a bronzed summer goddess! It is absolutely perfect!! I think if you can fit into one of the newly released shades (Fair/Tan/Extra Deep) you’ll absolutely love it!

greasy and finicky.good color, but mid product
even with my dry skin, I find this to be rather greasy. I think it's best for underpainting so that it doesn't pull up my foundation and the rest of my makeup application can tamp down the oily feeling. overall I can't really recommend as I think there are far better products out there that are easier to use and less pricey. I will say as someone with neutral coloring, I found the medium palette to work with my skin tone, but I still think it's far too expensive for a relatively mid product.

This palette makes achieving a sculpted, natural-looking complexion so easy. The cream formulas blend effortlessly into the skin and never look patchy or heavy. I love that it includes a color corrector, contour shades, and highlighters all in one compact palette. The color corrector brightens my under-eye area and helps cover discoloration, while the contour shades add definition without looking harsh. The highlighters create a subtle, lifted effect that looks like real skin. It layers beautifully under foundation and gives a seamless, second-skin finish. Perfect for anyone who wants a polished, professional-looking makeup application with minimal effort.

Decent but want an ultra-fair version
Shades are decent and blendable to achieve a more natural every day look. The “highlight” shades are perfect skin tone shades and do not brighten, so another shade expansion is needed.

This palette is genuinely everything. I just started underpainting and was worried about blendability, but the formula is so creamy it practically does the work for you. Super pigmented, no patchiness, and the shades layer beautifully. Already a staple

Suggested Usage:
Mary’s signature underpainting technique:

-Using the smaller end of the MPH Underpainting Dual Ended Sculpting Brush (sold separately), apply color corrector under the eyes to cover dark circles and anywhere else on the face you have discoloration.

-Apply contour with the larger end of the brush to the forehead, cheekbones, and jawline to define and sculpt your features.

-Use the smaller end of brush for more precise contouring, such as nose and lips.

-Apply highlight with the smaller end of the brush on the center of the forehead, on top of the cheekbones, down the center of the nose, and anywhere else you want to bring forward.

-Add foundation to blend. It works best when paired with a sheer-to-medium coverage foundation or tinted moisturizer.

-For more high-impact structure, add highlight or contour to your desired intensity.

-Mary Phillips’ tip: Take product from highlights and contours to the back of the hand and mix together to customize to your desired tone or brightness.

-To clean brush, use mild soap and warm water. Lay flat to dry.
