Great palette if you are needing neutrals
I have had this palette for around a month now and have been quite pleased with it. As a beginning user looking to increase my collection, it is a reliable and intuitive neutral palette. I am very pale and lean cooler, which makes me wary of many brown palettes. This one, though, showed up true to color on me. When the pictures show that these colors look brown, they look brown, not orange. I find that it is difficult to get a range of looks from this palette, but frankly, that is not the purpose of this palette. It does neutrals, which you can dress up or down very easily. In this purpose, it is stellar and perfect for everyday.
I only have two small gripes. The first is that the shimmers crease *slightly* throughout the day, despite using Urban Decay eyeshadow primer. That said, I have very oily eyelids that tend to eat color. There also is the possibility I am using too much product. Even so, I find the creasing is subtle enough not to bother me. Another point: if I were truly a melanated queen, I might worry about the dark colors being dark enough to add some true shading in the crease.
All that said, this is an amazing palette. The formula, the color story, the application, the wear, the intuitive, fool-proof layout are all to die for.

I hate to say it, but this is the perfect everyday palette for me. I have so many of ND’s previous neutral palettes and tried to talk myself out of this so hard, but knew I’d love that this one wasn’t as warm as some of her more recent releases. And I was right. Just knocked off a star because these prices in Canada are getting crazy! And the shimmers she releases now aren’t the same OG blinding formula. But they’re all still super pretty.
Will you get a ton of variety here? Probably not. But if this colour story is your jam, you’ll undoubtedly use every single shade. And that is huge for me.
