This is the first self tanner I’ve ever purchased. A Sephora employee helped me pick it out. I had a farmers tan from my job and needed to fix it fast, as well as make my legs match. Good product, seemingly terrible packaging.
The actual product is great. However, the packaging seems consistently terrible. It stops pumping half way through the bottle, if not sooner. It's been multiple bottles, hoping the next would be ok. I still poor it on the mitt to use, but I may now have to find another self tanner unfortunately. Or just stick with the drops.

Terrible product
I used to buy this product for years, the mousse (white) or the liquid (clear), and I was always very satisfied with the results. The last time I purchased it was in March 2026, and to my surprise, the formula had changed. Now it's an awful product: brown, staining and difficult to apply. It leaves residue on the skin like brown dust, just a nightmare. Don't buy!!!

Best clean product + application
I’ve been using self tanner products for about 28 years. This product is the best! I exfoliate first. I use a mit or surgical gloves for an even application. Then, I apply 2 or 3 layers (1 full layer at a time, from top to bottom), depending on the shade I’m aiming for. I finish my hands & feet w/a large powder brush. I always leave it on overnight before the first rinse & don’t use soap on the first rinse. The key is to keep your skin moisturized for longevity. If I’m not soaking in the bath or swimming a lot, it will lay me about 5-7 days. Great product!
