Montale Roses Musk turned out to be a very pleasant and easy-to-wear fragrance for me. The rose is quite bright and intense at first, but after about 30 minutes it becomes much softer and more delicate. As it settles, I get a beautiful blend of soft musk, subtle sweetness, and a clean, fresh feeling.
I like that the rose doesn't feel heavy or overwhelming. After the initial burst, the fragrance becomes very comfortable, feminine, and perfect for everyday wear. On my skin, it lasts around 6 hours, which I find quite good for such an airy and elegant scent.
This is a great choice for anyone who enjoys rose fragrances in a modern interpretation fresh, clean, and sophisticated without being too strong.

I finally understand the hype around this one. Roses Musk is SUCH a pretty feminine scent. The rose is fresh and elegant, not old lady at all, and the musk makes it smell clean, soft, and addictive. Every time I wear this I feel classy and effortlessly pretty. The performance is no joke either because one or two sprays lasts forever on me and stays on clothes for days. It smells beautiful on its own but also layers insanely well with vanilla, fruity, and clean girl scents. This little travel size just convinced me I need the full bottle ASAP 😭

Unapologetically feminine
If you want an unapologetically bold feminine fragrance with beast mode performance, look no further than Montale’s Roses Musk. When I first sprayed this on I immediately got a very bright rose that smells like it was dipped in sparkling sugar. It’s a very linear scent meaning the smell doesn’t change or evolve as you wear it, what you smell when you first spritz it on is what it will smell like all day. The longevity, projection and sillage are beast mode and is probably not safe to wear in an office setting due to its strength. When wearing this, I feel like I’m a fairy walking around in a rose garden on a bright sunny day. While I enjoy the scent, it can become cloying after awhile due to the sweetness. I was hoping that the amber would help to add some depth. Overall I love having this in my collection and it’s a beautiful springtime scent.

I get rose right away, but it is not a soft fresh rose. It comes off brighter and a little stronger at first, then the musk starts to show up underneath and gives it more warmth. On my skin, the rose settles down after a bit and the scent stays close without turning flat. I like that it does not smell too sweet or too clean, and it has enough depth to keep wearing all day without fading into nothing. It still smells polished, but not stiff. A very interesting rose that worth trying

Just wasn’t my favorite and didn’t last too long
I wanted to love love this perfume but it just didn’t hit the mark for me. I usually love rose and I’m a huge fan of musk but this was a little too sweet for my liking. I also didn’t find that it lasted on me all day. I found myself reapplying to try to get it to linger more. The container and clip is a good idea but the clip felt cheap and dainty for the price. I had to keep adjusting the clip and tighten it so that it would stay. If someone is a huge rose fan this may work for them I just don’t find the notes to be my favorite.

Beautiful but not for Every Day
This is a gorgeous scent. I love rose water scented products like body lotions and soaps, but they are typically very very light without much longevity. This perfume has a rose water like smell but very concentrated and very intense. It’s bright, fresh and feminine. I enjoyed wearing this but it does project, so there are some places I could not wear this (like at work where I see patients). However, I do think this is a great date night or special occasion scent. I do really like the packaging. The design is sleek and unique and the bottle is actually designed to protect the perfume against light and heat—very clever! If you like strong, long-lasting fragrances—you will love this. If you’re sensitive to scent, maybe not so much. I personally think it’s a sophisticated and luxe scent… but for me, this won’t be an every day fragrance.

Classic, rich and long lasting
This perfume is like a rose garden in a bottle! I would say if you like rose scent you would love this perfume because it is very very rosy. I think the scent profile is a bit leaning towards the mature side, but it is also a classic and elegant scent that really can’t go wrong. When I wear this perfume I feel like I am surrounded by sweet blooming roses and it just makes me feel so good. I like that I can wear it all year long regardless of the seasons. I noticed that the scent is very long lasting and doesn’t require much reapplying. But I do feel like the scent is not very layered so as time passes it kind of stays more or less the same.

Beautiful rose perfume
Montale Roses Musk is a 5 star fragrance for me. If you like rose, this definitely delivers. It smells clean, feminine, elegant, and polished without being sugary or overly fruity, which I really appreciate because I do not like super sweet perfumes.
What I love most is how simple and pretty it is. It is basically rose and musk, but done in a way that feels classic, fresh, and put together. It has that kind of scent that makes you smell expensive and polished without trying too hard.
It is also strong, so a little goes a long way. I only need a small amount, and it still makes an impression. Overall, it is a beautiful, easy-to-love rose fragrance and a full 5 stars for me.

Apply in the creases of your knees and elbows for a longer-lasting, stronger scent. -After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. -If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent handwashing, as this tends to rinse off the scent. -Replace fragrance after 12 months. Expired perfumes more than a year old lose the integrity of the original scent.
