They won't remove as much oil as blotting sheets. Useful when you don't have any, but I'd use sheets over these when given the option.

Firstly I've never written a review for Sephora before. This however does not have any reviews so I feel obligated to let my experience known. I have bad face sweating all over sometimes from the heat but also due to anxiety year round. Of course the self consciousness caused by a face covered in sweat just causes more face sweating. I have tried blotting papers in the past but the huge number of papers I need to help my sweating face with little effect made me give up on them completely. This comes with 2 sponges and a case with vents for them to dry and a clip that I used to sttatch to my purse so it's easy to grab. The 2 different sponges come in handy if you're away from home for some time or sweating a ton and you always have a clean one while you wash the other. This is a sponge made by beauty blender but is not the same sponge as their iconic foundation sponges. These are very smooth and dense. I also have oily skin and this works on both. I use it to quite an effect to keep my makeup surprisingly fresh and not melting off from oil or sweat. I hadn't worn makeup frequently anymore because the sweating just ruined it. But I love playing with my makeup and putting it on an wearing it out and about. Before I even carefully timed application for special occasions and requested pictures be taken right away before I'm a sweaty mess but that often doesn't work out. I am absolutely loving this. The confidence it gives me means I'm wearing makeup more even though the heat has gone up to low 40s Celsius so it is hot! My makeup hasn't melted with this handy and I'm much more comfortable and confident. I use this even when I'm not using makeup on a face covered all over with tons of sweat. I press and dab with a thing coat of sweat all over and admit to wiping with it on intense sweating. Even with that when I'm done I'm surprised my makeup still looks good. Can feel wet inside but it keeps it's original shape and size, locks in the moisture. TOTAL LIFE CHANGER.
