I have naturally curly, frizzy, dry hair, so I’m always cautious with thickening shampoos because they can sometimes leave my hair feeling even more dry or rough. I was pleasantly surprised by this one! It gives my hair a little more body and fullness while still leaving my curls soft and manageable. I’ve only used this shampoo twice so far and I can already tell a huge difference in my hair. Right away my hair felt so much cleaner, like it actually removed all the buildup instead of just sitting on top of it. My scalp felt really refreshed and my hair didn’t feel weighed down at all, it actually felt light and kind of fuller if that makes sense. I was a little worried it might dry my hair out since some thickening shampoos can do that, but it didn’t at all. My hair still felt soft and smooth even before I conditioned, which honestly surprised me. After drying, my hair looked a lot less flat and had more volume and movement to it, and it just looked healthier overall. It’s also been way easier to manage and style, like it’s not fighting me anymore. Love it!!
I’ve been using the Kenra Truly Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner and I actually like it more than I expected. Worth the Try
I think the shampoo is definitely worth the try. I only tried a small size and for a short period of time so I can't fully say I noticed my hair starting to get thick. I do like that the shampoo has a very nice smell almost like you got your hair washed a a professional salon. I have straight, medium hair. I feel like the more consistent with using it the better results you'll get. I did notice my hair was shiner after washing it especially when using with the conditioner. Again definitely worth a try!
