Overall does what it says
This product is a lotion like consistency rather than the normal thick paste, which I love since it is super lightweight.
The only reason for the lack of a star is that it didn't hold the makeup all day and I had to do a touchup.

Love this primer
I used the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer in the morning before applying my makeup, and it made a noticeable difference in how smooth my foundation looked throughout the day. guess i use primer now
I really like this primer. I'm not usually a primer girlie at all maybe occasionally for eye makeup, but just didn't feel pulled toward it previously. I've had this primer a few weeks now, and I keep finding myself reaching for it. It feels really light on my skin. When I put it on after my skincare routine in the morning, just by itself it evens out and brightens my skintone kinda a blurring effect on my fine lines and dark spots. Usually in the morning I use a tinted SPF, and by the time I get home from work, it's all rubbed off. With this Smashbox primer, my makeup stays put throughout the day and well after I get home. It's got a very slightly tacky feeling going on, which I appreciate as it's easier to tell where I've applied it, but it absorbs quickly and feels fine just smooth and silky and not intrusive at all and with no scent.
