I was quite skeptical of this product when I first received it but I have seen amazing results and now I'm hooked! This primer works to correct redness extremely well, to the extent that I don't use it all over my face in areas where I don't have redness (for example, on my temples or below the level of my cheek contour). If I do, it will still color correct that area, leaving me looking kind of grey after foundation. I like to apply a moisturizer first and then apply this primer to the areas of my face where I have redness, particularly my cheeks, nose, etc. There is no noticeable fragrance to me, and it goes on easily. I would say that the product does not "go a long way," which I find to common with many primers. It can feel like you're using a lot of product (which isn't a concern, other than the fact that I'll have to buy more sooner because I love it). That being said, the primer is totally lightweight, and you can't feel it on your skin at all after applying it. My foundation looks phenomenal over it, and the redness I have is completely corrected. I received this product for free to test, but I am 1,000% going to purchase more when I run out. Previously, I had been using a green spot corrector, and it was much more cumbersome than using this primer. Overall, this is just a much better solution for a skin concern I already had. Disclaimer: *I received this product for free from Smashbox for testing and review purposes.* For starters I have moderate to mild Rosacea across my cheeks and up towards my temples. It does reduce the redness to a more manageable level bit it doesn't erase it for the mild it does still show though and for the moderate it reduces it some. I still have to use a good concealer and makeup to cover the residual redness. Though I do like the formula it doesn't feel sheer and feels slightly hydrating at first but does dry down feeling soft but dry.

I used this primer for a month so far, a little does go a long way! It went smoothly under my makeup and did seem to keep it intact for a whole work day(but I did use setting spray too) Only gripe would be it didn't cover the redness as advertised. It was a mild correction, so I ended up layering with the green from my color corrector palette. Other than that it was a solid primer. I have used Smashbox Photo Finish Primer in the past and have always loved the way it feels on my skin! I was very excited to try the Anti-redness version to help with some aging skin issues and uneven skin tone. I use my primer in the morning and just had a little concealer over the top. It was the perfect amount of coverage to reduce my redness and even me out with the same silky texture I am used to from Photo Finish Primers. It is now summer and I work outside part of the day and even sweating heavily, my makeup has stayed! I will be using this product all season. I received the Smashbox Anti-Redness Primer several weeks ago to help with my skin prep. As a woman in her mid to late 40s, I have started developing mature skin & along with that has come dryness and splotchy redness. I've used primers in the past for redness but without fail once i apply my foundation over it, it's like it smears and disappears. That is NOT the case with the Smashbox Anti-Redness Primer. I used this primer for a full week before leaving my review. I wanted to make sure that my opinion wasn't based on just a one time use but days of wear and different weather conditions too. The primer itself feels lightweight and soft. I love the texture and feeling it gives my skin after applying it. I noticed that it does help with redness areas around my face. My nose, mouth and a few splotches on my temple and cheeks get red splotches and i feel self conscious about them. This primer works so well! I applied my foundation afterwards and the primer still sticks to my skin and stays. It doesn't smudge or smear off and it hasn't sweat off either underneath foundation and setting powder. I highly recommend this product to anyone experiencing redness on their face and definitely for my mature skin women just like me.
