I started off with a duo of minis, and 6 months later I also have 4 full size colors. These are *really* impressive lipstick/ lip liner/ lip crayon hybrids. I recommend investing in the specific sharpener for these, as I screwed up one by trying to use a different sharpener. Here we go: The Ilia Lip Sketch does a lot. My lips stay moisturized all day, the color lasts a *long* time (despite that fact that I do see it on my water bottle from the first sip), it doesn't gravitate from my original out-lining and leave me looking like the joker, and the selection of both reds and neutrals is AMAZING. I have historically been crappy at outlining my medium-thin lips. A skinny pencil liner often leaves me looking comical, totally overdone and often asymmetric. The thicker crayon and creamy formula offer a smooth application and has made the process so much easier to get right. My lips end up appearing as though they are naturally as full as the colored area. I get so excited to enhance my lips with this liner/ crayon combo, it's almost a little silly.

Ok, let’s be honest about what this product is….its exactly what its name says. It is hydrating with a soft matte finish. It is a chunkier lipliner pencil that needs to be sharpened. It can be used as a lipstick too. But it isn’t going to be long lasting. It isn’t a lip stain. I originally got the shade Pampas because it’s listed as a soft peach and the online swatch looked so pretty. Pampas is full on orange. That was disappointing. The online swatches are not accurate at all. So then I bought untitled which they say is a neutral beige. I actually love this color. And my favorite way to wear it is as a liner with Loreals Worth it lipstick. It’s the perfect combination.

what I wanted Rhode to be

LOVE HER this is what I wanted the Rhode lip contours to be! It's creamier than a traditional liner and still has some nice blendability, and it doesn't disappear when you blur it. Suuuch a nice formula and this color is close to wherever walnut but in a less dry formula I prefer.
