Gentle & Balance??...NOT!
Almost all the L'Occitane products that I've tried have been great, and I was excited to try this new solid shampoo. I have been using the bottle of Gentle & Balance shampoo and have been very happy with how it cleans and leave my hair feeling. However, this solid version doesn't even come close...it did lather quickly but it left my hair feeling stripped and dry. I'm not sure how this solid shampoo received so many positive reviews, but it definitely is a 1 star for me.

Ohhhhhh my goodness, yes!
Oh my goodness! I just washed my hair with the bar shampoo and used the serum after. The shampoo worked so well with just one run through my hair. No conditioner. It smells like a light lavender powder and was very lathery. Easier to comb through than I thought it would be. The serum also smells so good. My scalp tingled when I put it on and it's not oily at all. Love both of these products!

truly cleansing and purifying
Love using this soap. I have curly and frizzy hair, but the roots can need deep cleaning at times. This is gentle on the hair and cleans my hair really well. I follow up with conditioning oils from other brands afterward.

New favorite shampoo!
I used another brand of shampoo bar that worked well but left my color treated, medium/fine wavy curly hair a little on the frizzy side. This bar from L'Occitane is divine. Scent is nice and not overwhelming. Bar lathers very well so you only need to glide over wet hair a few times. Leaves my hair balanced, although I always use a conditioner. Would like to have a matching conditioner bar! Good for your hair and good for the environment- win win!
