This pleasantly surprised me. I used this as a heat protectant after washing and conditioning my hair the blow dry was smooth and light and after the flat iron my hair was really shiny and silky.

Pleasantly surprised by this hair oil. I didn't use it for a blow-out, but I did use it on my wash-and-go. Obviously, some amount of frizz is guaranteed with coily hair, but applying this oil daily actually minimized it by a lot. The photo I attached below is my hair, 5 days old. Usually, there would be stray hairs everywhere by that time, especially since it was also stretched with heat. And most importantly, it DOESN'T STINK! As someone with big hair, it's so important to me that the leave-in hair products I put in it aren't offensive to the nose. This smells decent and has some type of floral scent. Solid hair oil.

After using it for first time, my hair is so silky smooth and no frizz. I love the way it smells. It light be intense but it gradually the intensity if smell decreases. The scent lasts longer. Smells like more of a floral, musky to me. I take 2 pumps of it and rub it in hands, then apply from mid to the end. The packaging is cute but the oil marks stay in the bottle. Gone if wiped off. I love my new styling oil over a mousse or a spray.

First, I'd like to call out how the bottle has a very premium feel to it. It feels almost velvety in the hand. I know it's what's inside that counts but this does help the experience and tells me that the brand pays attention to details. My only concern as if it will turn sticky over time (looking at you old school nars compacts). Hopefully the technology has come further since then. Next I would love to tell you about the smell. I guess some people don't love it, but I would absolutely love to have a fragrance in this scent. It's light soft and would make a fabulous body spray. It's light and refreshing. Mildly floral with a musky note. That brings us to the oil itself which has a light watery texture. It is slightly runny and doesn't hold its body like some of the thicker oils. I like having a watery oil in my arsenal so that it doesn't weigh down my hair. I did find this effective in calming down frizziness. I used it as a last step on my damp hair. It was applied from mid-length to ends. I also would put the smallest bit in my palm and rub my hands together and smooth out the flyaways with it and found it helped with that as well. Overall, I found this to be effective at calming down frizziness as well as softening my medium coarse hair and making it a bit softer and more manageable while still maintaining curl integrity. I find that it does not weigh down my hair or affect the bounce of my curls which some heavier oils may do. I will absolutely continue to reach for this, particularly in times when it's more humid outside or I'm struggling with frizz. For reference, I have between shoulder and below the earlobe hair. It falls around mid neck. It is around 2-3b in texture. It has been color treated but not bleached (got to cover them grays!). It is medium-thick coarseness with medium to thick density. Recommended.

The UNOVE Frizz-Calming Glass Hair Oil makes my hair look instantly smoother and super shiny, like that sleek “glass hair” vibe, but without feeling greasy or heavy. I just use a small pump on my ends and it tames frizz right away, even on humid days (which is saying a lot). I also love that it has heat protectant built in, so I can throw it on before blow drying and not worry about using a bunch of extra products. My hair feels softer, looks more polished, and I’ve noticed way fewer flyaways. It’s lightweight, absorbs fast, and the scent is amazing. It is clean and a little luxe but not too much. If your hair gets frizzy or you just want that smooth, glossy finish, this is such an easy add to your routine. Definitely a good one.

I have a lot of fine, slightly wavy hair that's chemically colored. So I need moisture and shine and this lightweight oil is the perfect weight for my hair. It contains loads of plant oils and extracts. One of which I'd never heard of before, Plukenetia Volubilis seed oil. It said to protect and strengthen the hair. My hair is about shoulder-length and I found one to two pumps was sufficient to treat mid-length to ends. It's been hotter and more humid these past weeks and it really tamed the frizz and my ends felt smoother and more nourished. And the shine it gives is terrific. The scent is light and floral. The only drawback for me is that dimethicone is listed as its first ingredient which I'm not a fan of because it’s not water-soluble and can accumulate a buildup that prevents moisture from penetrating the hair shaft. It typically requires a shampoo containing sulfates to remove buildup, which can strip hair color and leave it looking dull. So it creates an unending cycle.

First off, I absolutely love the Unove bottle, it has a very premium silicone type of feel to the bottle putting off an upscale vibe. The Smell however I am really not a fan of but thankfully it is fairly muted. This stuff does wonders for my frizzy thick hair without making it greasy. This product is highly recommended for individuals with extremely frizzy hair. It is particularly beneficial as the summer season approaches, with swimming and pool activities becoming more frequent. It effectively addresses the issue of over washing hair after exposure to chlorine which is a win for me.

I used the UNOVE Frizz-Calming Glass Hair Oil with Heat Protectant for about a little over a week and although I want to say I loved it I cant because of the scent. I used it on dry hair after styling and liked the finish because my hair was looking so good but I didn’t like the scent after a while, not really my cup of tea. I tried it other times on damp hair to heat style and the scent was stronger however the result was phenomenal. Then I tried it on dry hair before styling and liked that result a little less but the scent was less intense so I liked that. The oil is so light and did tame my hair frizz. I liked how it left my hair looking so healthy and made it feel healthy too. I like how the oil isn’t dense and comes off so well when I wash my hair. Overall this is a great product, I just wasn’t a fan on the scent it has this time.

I usually steer away from hair oils as they leave my hair looking greasy and stuck together. Recently, I cut my hair short and couldn’t get anything to work. So I tried this! It calms my hair down just enough to get it glossy and smooth while not looking gross. I put this on my hair just before a job interview and got a lot of compliments on my hair! I highly recommend this hair oil to those who have and have not had experience with hair oils! *received as a part of an educational promotion*

This is my favorite frizz calming hair oil. My hair tends to get very frizzy due to the damage from the sun and thickness of it. I used it after washing my hair and applied it when it was damp. I used about a quarter size, and started from the mid part to the ends. It has a beautiful light floral scent which I love. The oil is not sticky and it dries quickly in damp hair. I let my hair dry a bit and I love that it leaves soft strands and no static/ frizzy hair. What I noticed the most is the fact that it softened my split ends which is one of my main concerns. I also love that it is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. It is a product that works very well.
