This was a 5 star for a long time. It was out of stock a few months ago so I chose a different brand. I was excited to come back to the Primer Potion and to my disappointment it's not the Primer Potion I've been using for years. It feels different in a way I can't describe and there's lots of creasing.

I have hooded eyes so it can be hard for me to keep eye makeup on, but a thin layer of this has kept it in place and kept it from creasing. container is a bit small but worth the buy

Disappointing
I’m actually really disappointed with this product. It did not hold the colour of my eyeshadow and it creased within 2 hours. I don’t think it works on mature, oily eyelids.

Def worth it if you’re applying eyeshadow!
It truly works, the few times I’ve forgotten this step in my makeup routine, I really notice it a few hours into the day when my eyeshadow and liner are smudging twice as much! Wish it was easier to get out of the package though.

Formula felt oily
I have never tried this particular eyeshadow base. I was specifically looking for an eyeshadow base that has an applicator. When I tried this the first time the formula felt like oil. Even though I used setting powder to set my eyeshadow, it creased and looked very oily within hours. No thank you!!

Good when on sale
Perfect for my eyelids both in hot (when my skin is oily) and cold weather (when my skin is usually very dry). It helps my eyeshadow blend in perfectly giving it a buttery sort of feel when blending even with cheaper eyeshadows! It also doesn’t crease. I while say that my eyeshadow has been lasting the same amount of time as it usually does without the primer.
