I bought this (along with $1200 worth of other Dr Sturm products) and even though this is a good product, I just feel scammed. There are so many different hyaluronic acid serums out there for a tenth of the price. This didn't have any wow factor. It was just ok. I wouldn't buy this again

Hydration!
THIS is the bomb when it comes to rehydration to the face. I use this after my toner and before any other serums that I put on. This helped my face give balance on skin when being super dry after the shower. I also think that this is limited to darker skin tones but definitely a great option!

Best HA Serum
This HA serum is amazing. I have tried many samples of the regular HA serum by Sturm, and the Darker Skin Tones one absorbs into the skin far better and feels lighter to me. 3 to 4 drops is more than enough for my face and neck. I don't notice any scent, and it's not tacky or sticky. I converted to all Sturm products a few months ago and they have completely changed my skin. I am a black woman with combo, acne-prone skin and have always been trying to address acne, oil, and now dryness and aging as I enter my 30's. In comparison, I have used HA serums by The Ordinary, Drunk Elephant, and Glow Recipe--this is far superior to all of these. It also has brightening/anti-inflammatory properties, as do all the products in the Darker Skin Tones line. Yes it's pricey but if you can afford it, it's worth it. Before using Sturm products, I didn't realize how much of my skincare sat on top of the skin instead of absorbing. This sinks right in. I used to spend so much money on products to brighten acne scarring and the Sturm Darker Skin Tones line has done that for me with fewer products and steps in my routine.

I’ve been using the cleanser (both foam & enzyme) from the DST line. I love them both and decided to try other products. This serum is great. It quickly absorbs into the skin and doesn’t leave that sticky feeling like others I’ve tried (e.g. drugstore cheaper versions). I recommend giving this a try. I have this 4 stars bc of price. I wish it were cheaper. Buying is definitely a splurge. I have to save to buy. A little goes a long way though. Give it a try!

Didn’t think it would work, BUT IT DID
Truly thought this was just gonna be an over hyped product and didn’t think it was gonna do much. But it truly has done so much in just a few days. I’m writing this as I am on my 7th day using this product alongside with the other Dark Skin Tones product lines (face cream/face cream rich). My skin is noticeably more even, MUCH softer, ALOT smoother and just seems a lot more refreshing. I have heard and read reviews that this line is better than the rest of her other ones. I recommend using this product and the moisturizer whether you are fair, medium, or dark toned. I just feel the formula is better and it’ll truly combat anti-aging. Before this, I’ve been slowly testing out Barbara Sturm’s products. I honestly don’t recommend the Calming serum (ended up irritating it instead of calming it). SPF is fine but not worth it considering it’s a chemical sunscreen and not even a physical mineral one. The brightening serum has helped, with slightly brightening my face. And I rly do like the glow drops bare faced and even more under make up. All in all I highly recommend this product and it’s def the best hylaronic acid serum I have ever used.
