UNLIKE AHA's, BHA's, Retinoids, Accutane... this serum doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, while simultaneously reducing my acne. Did Not Work For Me
I was so hopeful for this line… I have perioral dermatitis, aging skin, and prone to breakouts. Unfortunately using this line exclusively, I had the worst breakout I have experienced in 10+ years. After three days of stopping this line completely, my skin has almost completely healed. Not sure what it is that my skin does not like, but sadly this line did not work for me.

I had trouble choosing between this and the calming serum to added redness, breakouts & blemishes. I ended getting this and the travel size calming serum. I’m so glad I decided to get this serum as it had cleared up my skin so much! It actually helped the most with pores and blemishes, I’m so thankful I found a serum that actually does what it’s suposed to do and keeps my skin clear! I hope she’s comes out with a travel size as the full size is quite expensive, but I will purchase again either way!

So first off I have struggled with skin issues from eczema, to acne, hormonal acne, dermatitis and everything in between . I have extremely extremely sensitive skin and just about anything irritates me . I have spent hundred and thousand of dollars on everything from designer name brands, to holistic to actual prescription medications. NOTHING has worked not even half as good as this ! I mean In a few days , no note my skin had been doing better I had breakouts when I stumbled upon this but my skin has definitely been worse. It has dramatically improved my texture, discoloration and just overall appearance. I will use this forever ! Gentle, not rapid zit-zapper
This is a gentle—GENTLE—acne treatment. Sturm’s mantra is harsh chemicals damage skin over time & we need to be patient with our skin. Some things in her line are worth it (this, hyaluronic serum, scrub) some are not (face cream, cleansers). If you’re expecting a harsh acne-zapping serum, this isn’t it. I use it on breakouts that are fading or just beginning. It does WONDERS on speeding up acne fading & works like a filter on bad areas. I’ve had mine for about 6 months with daily use on my chin. Expensive, but if you have a hormonal problem area, it helps. I usually use it for emerging and fading breakouts, using benzyl peroxide when they’ve peaked. Pricey, though. Would love a cheaper alternative.

UGH. pains me to write this review because I was so hopeful it would really help in treating my acne. I have been using this serum for almost 6 months. I am 37 yo with acneic combo skin. This serum has a water like consistency, no scent, and absorbs really quickly, leaving no residue behind. I found it to be very hydrating and soothing, really helped in getting rid of the dry areas - hence why I've used it for a while. However, it doesn't do a whole lot in the Clarifying sense - perhaps there was a slight reduction in my acne, but really nothing noticeable. Therefore I just can't justify re-purchasing anymore. im ditching this product because I found another serum that actually does just as good of a job in hydrating my skin (stacked skincare HA serum). Sturm products are of high quality when it comes to hydration and absorption of product- but this one did not deliver in the aspect of clarifying.
