Years of proven excellence

I have been using this product for decades! And my skin looks very good. After all make-up is removed, I use this for any residual left on my face. This also makes a big difference for moisturizer to sink in. To see the effect, Try applying moisturizer on the back of your hand then on the other, use clarifying lotion, then moisturizer. I started with the strongest for my oily skin when I was in my 20s, I’ve now switched to level 2 (a milder form) There is a level 1 for more sensitive skin.

Contains alcohol

I used this for a few years, until I realized it has alcohol in it. Now I use a Kiehl’s toner.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL PRODUCT

i love this clarifying lotion and i have been using it since the 1990s only one little problem that one i received was not packaged in a box not a large problem i will still always use this number 2 one works great

It came unboxed?

I always buy this size, from many retailers, including Clinique itself, and it always comes in a box, with a standard cap and the pump separate. So, some assembly required. When I received this from Sephora, no box and already assembled. Hopefully it hasn’t been used.

There’s an answer in the Q&A section that captures this product: it’s basically dyed witch hazel and alcohol. Must be a big money maker for Clinique. I’d save your money, smells like rubbing alcohol all over.
