First time i bought it back in like 2018-2019 , it worked really well for me. halfway through the second bottle and the third bottle it started to burn my skin. i am unsure why, i guess my skin just grew sensitive to tbe formula. but i have some bad burn marks that are still healing. defenately should've stopped using when it burned the first time, but it didn't always burn. once your skin starts to react negatively, just throw it away. don't try it again at a fifferent time. your skin is telling you no

The results of the acne solution are great. I've had bumps and an uneven texture I've had months and they have gotten smaller almost taking them away. If I continue to use it, which I will. It is going to take them away!

I started getting hormonal acne on my chin and jaw two years ago. Never had acne issues in my entire life before, and all of a sudden BAM. I tried so many different products and routines and nothing could keep it under control. A few weeks of this and its almost completely gone (only get one bump every once and a while). My husband even started using it on his chest acne (and it worked). For those with sensitive skin, just pre-soak a cotton pad with water (squeeze out excess) before applying this product to it and wiping over your face. Works like a charm!

I have used this product for over 3 years, and it's definitely a constant in my skincare routine. I have oily skin, and I reccomended it for people who struggle with acne breakouts, but it definitely can be drying if used in excess. It reduces whiteheads substantially and doesn't strip my skin of moisture.

This seemed to do the trick, although, I would recommend easing your skin into using the product, as my skin felt a little burning sensation through continuous use in the beginning.

I don’t frequently write reviews, but felt compelled to do so with this toner given how horrible the effects were on my skin. I used to use the acne solutions line a lot back in my late 20s; I don’t have horribly bad acne-prone skin or really sensitive skin, but have very mild cystic acne around my jaw line and neck from stress. Two of my favorite toners have been discontinued over the years, so I gave this a shot again at 40. I’m pretty positive the formula has changed tremendously, and for the worst, over the years. The smell alone should have been a warning. Because of the amount of alcohol and irritants, I attempted to use this every other day to start and moisturize in between so it wasn’t too drying. I used it Monday and then Wednesday night after cleansing and by Thursday morning had the worst chemical burns over my entire face - I am talking ear to ear from my jawline, up to my cheeks and under my eyes. Painful, burning and itchy skin that is out of control, blotchy and red. The texture of my face is ruined and nothing has been working to calm my skin in the last 48 hours. I initially tried this toner a few months back and returned it thinking maybe it was a bad bottle or batch, but nope - it’s the product. I really should have trusted my gut and never went back to this knowing the amount of alcohol that’s in it based on the ingredient list and the fact that they use silica as a selling point when it’s a mild abrasive! Since learning that Clinique also tests on animals, these are going straight into the trash. Save your money and your beauty; this company should be paying my dermatology bill after ruining my once fairly beautiful skin.

I have acne-prone combination skin. I used this when I was in high school over 10 years ago. Since then, I've experimented with many different toners. But I still gravitate back to this one! Helps with my acne in the summer and winter. Like other reviewers mentioned, it can be drying but I found that using a thicker moisturizer in the winter is an easy fix.

I have been using acne solutions since high school and this still works wonders for me whenever I break out. After washing my face and body I use this on a cotton pad over my face chest back and butt (the real acne girls understand). I will forever use this product

This stuff has way too much alcohol in it. I understand some may be in all cosmetics, but when it smells like youre using nail polish remover on your face, something is really wrong. Very drying and irritating

I have been using this and the acne solutions face wash. I started 2x a day but now only need to use at night. If I allow it to run out I start to get acne on my neck/jaw again but as soon as I start using again it clears up. I’m 44 and never thought I’d still need acne products but it keeps my skin clear and as long as I use moisturizer after my skin looks amazing and still glows, looks healthy.
