Product was NOT matte. My skin was already shiny and I hadn’t even stepped out of the bathroom. It also was a warm color on my neutral skin tone. Plus it has a tacky feel to it. I will keep trying it in different ways (with/ primer )without

Thanks so much to Laura Mercier who so kindly gifted me with a free Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free Blurred Matte Skin Tint to try and review. This was such an awesome product to receive and test out, from the first application I was impressed. The tinted moisturizer goes on so smooth,covers, blends seamlessly and left my skin feeling completely moisturized under the matte finish. The tint provides full coverage similar to a foundation and only a single layer was needed for a full face. Application lasted during day and night, also continued to feel moisturized without a greasy feeling. The matte blur gave me such a smooth texture and looked as if my makeup had been professionally done. The color was unfortunately too dark for me, but I’d love to try it again with a shade that matches my skin tone. Really great product, quality as always and well worth a purchase in the near future.

Laura Mercier was sweet enough to send me their Tinted Moisturizer Oil Free Blurred Matte Skin Tint to try out for free and I sincerely appreciate the kindness. I’ve been a customer of the brand for a while and routinely use a few different products, so I was super excited about the opportunity to try this one out and give my review. First impression was how pleasantly smooth and full the tint applied, consistency is very rich but also very light. It felt great on my skin, barely there..no excessive blending needed. Surprisingly, it’s closer to a full coverage foundation than a skin tint or tinted moisturizer, which was nice surprise..felt like I was getting more than I expected, a bit of an upgrade. A little goes a long way and it blends very nicely, a few drops is enough for medium to full coverage wear. One application lasted throughout my day with no retouches. What I loved most was the matte finish, it’s perfect..light, not too dry, nor greasy, gives a professional studio effect and the oil free finish is great for spring and summer weather. As far as shade, 4N Teak was slightly orange and brassy in tone and a few shades darker than my actual complexion. A bit more of a highlighter effect than tinted moisturizer with this shade…which also works! I’m sure color matching in person would give me an ideal shade. Really enjoyed the weightless feel, coverage, moisturizing qualities, amount of product and how well it both blended and set. So I’m honestly going to give the tint a second go and purchase after a proper color match to my skin tone. Hoping to make it a staple in my routine and pair it with the Luminous Perfecting Pressed Finishing Powder…definitely going for a consistently fresh face and perfectly smooth finish all summer.

This is the worst product ever. It is very thick and cakey and does not blend in. It’s not a moisturizer at all. It is more akin to war paint.

I added this sample to my Sephora Sale purchase and am ordering this the same day I tried it on. I love it so much and this will be my go to daily! It’s giving me my youthful look again. Ladies find your shade and stock up!

The sand color made my face look yellow-ish orange; if you have cool undertones I don't recommend. Also the coverage was heavier than I expected, it was hard to blend in and it stained my platinum hair orange around my face. It's an extremely matte finish.

This is silky smoooth, the coverage for a tinted moisturizer is amazing. It’s long lasting and gives a nice blur effect. I like using alone and with concealer and feel great knowing it has SPF 30 without looking grey

I bought this in search of a replacement for the old double wear foundation and it won't be a suitable replacement for all occasions but it is actually perfect for days when I know I will be outdoors in the sun for most of the day. The shade 0N/silk is an extremely close shade match for original double wear 1W0/warm porcelain, the formula does not contain chemical SPF or sodium citrate/citric acid so it doesn't sting my skin, cause an allergic reaction or trigger an eczema flare, and it stayed on very well during a recent heat wave of a week long excruciating near 100 degree SoCal spring weather. I have fair skin and noticed no sun burns on my face despite not reapplying any SPF, not wearing any additional sunscreen, and spending at least 5 hours in direct sunlight in the middle of the day for the whole week. I was easily able to build up coverage where needed without it feeling heavy on my skin or causing the formula to break down faster over time, so it really is perfect for daytime wear especially when doing outdoor activities. that being said, I would not ever use this in place of foundation for special events or just longer days where I would like to look as presentable and put together as possible.

I’d give this about a 3.5 out of 5. I really wanted to love it because the idea of a blurred matte skin tint with SPF is perfect, and it does have some nice qualities. It feels lightweight on the skin and gives a soft, natural-looking finish at first. That said, the “blurred matte” effect didn’t fully live up to expectations for me. It looks good initially, but I noticed it didn’t stay as smooth throughout the day, especially in areas where I get a little oily. The coverage is also pretty sheer, so if you’re looking for more evening out, you might be a bit underwhelmed. It’s a solid everyday option if you like a light, natural look, but for the price, I was hoping for a bit more longevity and performance. I’d use it again, but I’m not completely sold.
