Once I added this to my curly styling routine my hair goes days without needing a wash. I’m so impressed with this product. Great hold without crunch!
This is most definitely for curly girls. I air dry my hair, so I don't like products that are too heavy. Gels and some creams can make my hair too stiff. Sprays don't have enough hold. This mousse is the perfect balance. Great hold for curls when I wear my hair down without a lot of crunch. (It was a bit crunchier when I use this and slick it back, but I could just need more practice to find the right amount of product.) I live in a hot, humid climate and did not get too frizzy either. This is a new mainstay for my bathroom counter.

I’ve been using this mousse with the Davines Curl Enhancing Shampoo, and I’m loving the results so far. It gives me soft, defined, shiny curls without any heaviness or crunch. Makes my hair hydrated and SO SHINY. Doesn’t weigh my finer hair down, gives me bouncy curls. Not a super strong hold or crazy cast (I use this with a gel for a stronger hold).

Hair looked decent, rash did not
I have no known prior allergies or sensitive skin, but this product gave me the worst reaction. All skin exposed to my hair (scalp/ears/neck/shoulders/chest) broke out in an angry blistering rash that lasted for TWO WEEKS and I still have scarring. Beware! I have tried other Davines products with no issues and haven’t been able to isolate the ingredient that caused this.

The scent isn't for everyone (not offensive, just kind of strong). I do feel that it is moisturizing, the hold is not as strong as I would want. It doesn't create any crunch even with lots of product application (that can be a a good or bad thing, depending on your philosophy/technique for styling your hair). I have 2C curls with coarse strands and prone to frizz. I think this is good for the winter, but don't think it will be sufficient in the summer/humid months.
