Works well, but i have to use a lot of product to make sure it stays smooth when dry. I have short soft bleached hair. Wavy sometimes straight

I bought this because the brand suggested this for curly hair over the mousse, after the mousse did nothing for definition and hold. Unfortunately, beyond the absolutely divine smell, this was just as disappointing. I find that it offers zero hold, and just adds a gross product-y feeling to my hair. I tried using more, I tried using less, and ultimately it's just bad. I understand the "no makeup makeup for hair" concept, but this is just doing nothing.

I have fine wavy hair and this weighed my hair down so much! It also did not help my frizz, made it worse somehow. Also the scent is so overpowering! Annoyed I can’t return it.

Was willing to put up with the price but this did absolutely nothing it claimed to do. Made my hair look even frizzier and untameable than if I had put nothing on at all. Couldn’t return this any faster.

I was looking for a new curl cream and bought this because of the size and I love it! A little goes a really long way and the smell is so lovely and fresh. It keeps my curls defined without feeling crunchy.

I got a sample of this in my Sephora order, and it's fantastic! I have straight-wavy hair and usually don't use any leave-in or styling products because I dislike strong fragrances and the feeling of heaviness in my hair after a few hours. However, this product is different. Initially, I was pleasantly surprised by the scent. It's light and sophisticated; typically, when a product claims to have a coconut scent, I find it tends to be the artificial coconut that lingers for hours. But in this case, the coconut its too strong and the smell disappears quickly AND I actually enjoy it during the brief time the smell lingers after application. Now, does it feel heavy? Well, a little. It is a cream after all, but more importantly, it absorbs into my hair and keeps frizz at bay while styling. The end of my hair looks alive and not dead after styling, going out, showering and waking up the next morning to reapply and style again. This cream is something I fully look forward to applying in my hair styling routine.

Was excited to try this product because I almost always air dry my hair, but it totally flattens my curls and makes them these weird crinks

My order took so long to arrive that I only got to try this right before the return period, so I couldn't return - very frustrated. Marketed as smoothing but isopropyl alcohol appears twice in the ingredient list, which actively dries out the hair shaft after the initial application wears off. Also contains fragrance and a starch-based film-former that blocks moisture over time. For fine, hair that needs real smoothing, this is the opposite of what it promises.

LOVE THIS!! it makes my 2C/3A hair texture look great!! Paired with a lightweight gel and *chefs kiss* I’ve been rocking my natural hair lately because of this product.

TLDR; this is a miracle, use it correctly. For reference: I have lots of fine, Latina hair. It is wavy with some spring-ier curls throughout. I have tried nearly everything on the market over the years from DevaCurl to drugstore brands to every air dry creme out there (looking at you, JVN). I have NEVER found a one and done air dry styling product. The best combo I found previously was the Crown Affair leave in conditioner with the air dry mousse. And then this guy came along and blew that out of the water. I use this a little differently than my previous routines. And I have used it with a little bit of the CA Leave In on the ends. I put that on soaking wet hair, before it ever touches a towel. Then I wrap it up and let it dry for about 30 minutes (or whatever suits me). Then I comb it out and rewet any section that has started to really dry. You need water in your hair! But not dripping. Then I do about a quarter size amount on each side of my head. I apply this similar to how I applied gels previously. Gently with hands like a press and light finger combing and then scrunching. Once it has dried, if you feel a little crunch, then just scrunch the crunch! The same as most other curl products on the market. You have to break the cast and shake up your roots. I do use it again to refresh second day hair. YOU MUST REWET! I spray with a continuous mist bottle until my hair is damp. Then get a small amount (much less than day 1) and again lightly press it down over my hair and then gently scrunch. My curls are popping, the frizz is minimal (what one would expect in order to get volume). My hair is soft, not weighed down at all. And the refresh is shockingly easy and impressive. I am truly impressed. I’ve enjoyed all of CA products but I never thought I’d find an air dry product that worked for me. I personally love this smell! I’m very sensitive to fragrance, but find this fresh and light and it doesn’t last. (Exact same as every other CA product).
